[Bug] Iron banner rank up Boost isnt working
I am wearing a set of armor/ornaments, each unique without an iron banner armor piece under/over another. My crucible rank has increased faster then my iron banner one has at a 5 streak. (Currently fabled 1, while iron banner is Brave 3). With the boost at the current near of 2/5/1 for challenge/armor/emblem, I would think the rep gain would be more to the point Iron banner would reset before I reset the crucible ranks. Unless iron banner rep is earned at a lower rate then normal crucible which seems silly for something that comes 2 times a season
I've tried different combinations to the point of using no ornaments at all, and still the rep doesn't increase like the boost says it should

2 RepliesI finally just suck up and do Rift because I am like you know what. I enjoy objective based PvP even when the matchmaking is the worst I have ever seen in a game. Sure whatever. I will chip away at it going 5-0 and 0-5 every other match since nothing is balanced. But then I too begin to notice this. My god man. I have a career. I'm in my 30's with a family and 2nd kid almost here. I do not have the commitment of a 2nd job for a stupid -blam!- title that I thought would be a simple grab over the next 2 weeks they have the event. But of course bugged and the ranks are a slog. This game isn't a job and I don't want to treat it like one. But here it comes. "You want it handed to you". No... I want it to work. If the modifiers worked properly I would be near done already the few hours I have played. I am soooo tired of crap not working in this game and the time commitment everything is becoming. Crafting for example. Good luck finding FIVE red boxed weapons early and THEN using them to extract the materials needed to get the pattern then use a crap version of said gun at first then bash ure brains in to level it up and craft it the way you want. The entire game has become an over obnoxious time suck and I get it check my hours played I already bang out this game a lot the nights im free. But it's becoming too much and just not fun like at all.

Tl;dr bungie already knows and they told people not to equip ornaments, only use the armor and emblem, don't push the multiplier too high (max 8x otherwise stuff like last quest step or triumph won't register progress)

I had the bug all day until about 2 hours ago it just went away. Functioning as normal now and getting the large rank per match.

There is some bug that if you do too many daily challenges or something, your rep decreases instead of the other way around.

Check the help section if you already haven’t already. And dmg tweeted about it also. Not that it makes it any better. Extremely frustrating to do what the challenge says, and then get penalized.

So it's a slogfest? Why am I not surprised? This game wants you to work hard for some measly xp gains. 👍

Try playing all 3 characters and you end 6-5-1 you get 80 xp per match even thou it says 12.0 modifier... It's super broken don't play your other characters...

I assume this is on your warlock which is only wearing one In ornament. Did you change your gear? The LMG though should count so you should be at 2 for the armor. Also your emblem probably isn’t counting. It’s a known issue.
