Title. Raid challenges should be about completing the encounter efficiently and not involve arbitrary goals that make no sense form an actual combat perspective. It shouldn’t involve things like keeping enemies alive longer than necessary, spawning more enemies than necessary, making the encounter take longer than necessary, etc.
There’s much more a sense of accomplishment from efficiency than from purposefully and arbitrarily making things more difficult. I think it would be much more rewarding to complete an as flawless execution of the mechanics as possible instead of random combat hinderances for no good reason.

Templar challenge is one of my favourites simply because the challenge is to do the encounter without messing up and letting the templar teleport it's great because of you get a good team you can get the challenge done really easy without having to do something dumb like switching the shield every 3.28 seconds
