Yay More Monetization!
If you though that cutting out dungeons and making them a part of a expensive deluxe edition isnt scammy enough bungie found a way to squize even more money from you
So during events only those who buy a EVENT PASS will receive a special cosmetic rewards
It can be anything, from jet black shader to new ornaments.
And they aint even under sony yet ha ha
Ofc every community manager will deny and ignore any topic of that like a wild fire cause they are bunch of cowards who are too afraid to admit that this game just exist to milk as much money as possible with little to no effort behind it

Funny thing is this is still probably just going to go towards their other projects or just more Eververse crap rather than at the very LEAST improving the in game events. Nothing has changed for years and it still sounds like very little is changing now. Remember when Eververse paid for extra content? I miss that idea.

event pass is the same thing they did last events, they are using EVERVERSE cosmetic silver only items and add them in the event card, for one time bungie writed the twab with precise info and everyone got mad when hear silver for extra cosmetic , sad

It’s a 100% complete game, much larger world than all of Destiny 2 destinations combined, good story, challenging, and plenty of quests and side quests for hundreds of hours of content. Plus, no season passes or micro transactions. Destiny 2 can’t compete with a single aspect of Elden Ring.

18 RepliesI love how the season pass everyone paid for already has a surprise second "event pass" that costs just as much as the entire season itself. The fact there isn't a silver dust option, even an exorbitant amount, is 1000% predatory and deceptive. Get ready for per-season "nightfall pass", "raid pass", maybe even "decryption pass" and "powerful/pinnacle pass" in the coming seasons if/when you all make the "event pass" and "dungeon pass" a success.

Destiny is their only game and money maker. Remember, it is the players who encourages these sort of practice. Everyone sits here complaining and whining but when time comes for you guys to vote with your money, y’all literally throw money at Bungie. Yes, Bungie is at fault, but y’all are also at fault.

I hate to say this but it’s a game . It’s a hobby . If ur complaining about money then go play or do something else . This first is a company a business that is made to make a product that makes money first and foremost . Ur goal is to sell. If it works then u try to keep it up . If u don’t want to buy then don’t buy . If u don’t support then why come here to complain . The dlc are needed as a barrier for cheaters . Anything else is optional and don’t even have to buy cosmetics that was the whole point of transmog .

Now, can they hire people that know how to manage a game that actually knows how to create a game, because since Activision dropped them this game has literally been stagnant? Is pulling cheap tactics all this new Bungie knows how to do? Even the expansions are mediocre at best. The thing about all this is the player base is a huge part of the problem even though Bungie actually created the problem.

Of course, what did you expect? Bungie is a private company in the lucrative business. I don't applaud their lack of transparency and their lack of acknowledgment vis-à-vis player feedback for QoA improvements and their general neglect for quality PvP (i.e. keeping awful maps while vaulting good ones).

Fundamentally it's no good development. As someone already said, you already bought a season pass, and now you have to buy another event pass. - Another pass, for the season, you already bought. I wanna see it life, before I give my final verdict, but I already did not buy the 30th Anniversary Event. As if the Destiny Content Vault is not bad enough.

The only thing I will remain forever critical about is 30th anniversary edition content and thats exclusive to gally, other things I dont care about it. And even thats not a big deal. “oh no my comsetic pass” who cares also get informed. dunegons arent being cut. its a way for non dlc owners to get access to dungeons without buying dlc
