Upgraded Event Card plans need to be abandoned!
This is greed at its highest it’s exploitative and predatory. We already paid you monetization needs to be reigned in. I didn’t pay for this year blind for this nonsense. Can’t charge a premium call yourself free to play and still nickel and dime all year truely terrible greedy devs.

You feel you should buy a car but then pay later to get the tire or the seat? How about full price on a pc only to open it and find just a bare motherboard??? Next will be must pay by the strike or pvp match but again it will be "normal". The event cards itself are free. You don't have to pay for the upgraded version.

5 RepliesI'll happily spend 10 bucks on it. No problem at all. I'll get more entertainment out of that 10 bucks than I would spending 30-40 bucks to go see a movie. 10 bucks for 50 hours entertainment vs 30-40 bucks for 2-3 hours.......easy choice imo

5 RepliesIt’s the same thing as the seasonal COSMETIC bundle that’s been available in eververse forever. Ship, sparrow, ghost shell, emotes, etc. In 7 years of Destiny I’ve gotten basically everything I’ve ever wanted from eververse and I’ve bought silver exactly once (1500) and that’s only because I missed out on season of joker and most of season of opulence in the hospital for cancer treatments so I bought an armor ornament set from the archive store. People need to get a grip. If you like the game, but the deluxe and play the game and 99% of items and such will be available for bright dust throughout the year (and you make a boatload of bright dust playing the event bounties)

Lemme play a little Dostoevsky'esque, protagonist/devil's advocate: Jason Jones is just 'going with the flow'. Aside from a couple of Scandinavian and Indonesian public educational systems; aptitude targeting and 'full' development has been on the decline for decades. It's poor math to heap the majority of this on programs like 'No Child Left Behind', or eliminating Gym Class from developing a more broad range of behavior in children, that eventually become even more limited adults. The majority of blame/accountability falls to those -blam!- to rise to the occasion: people in the most powerful positions of instituting vital change to reintegrate accurate aptitude/talent/esteem assessment, and actualization in educational systems. As many famous Historians have wisely claimed over recorded history: Ignorance is the greatest enemy. And when you have less and less sustainable knowledge to keep ignorance (especially the wanton variety) to a minimum; there'll be more and more Jason Jones' of the world 'capitalizing'. Now what?
