As they stand currently, the Greaves are boring plug-and-play exotic armor that restrict player choice and prevent opportunities for emergent gameplay. Not to mention how aerial shoulder charges are unreliable as both damage source (inconsistent tracking, poor hit reg) and movement option (the ages it takes to recover from the animation). To remedy these shortcomings, I want to broach the following change: retain aerial shoulder charge functionality but also introduce a directional dive a la Ballistic Slam. Think of it as having similar qualities as Phoenix Dive or Shatterdive but with the caveat that the longer you are airborne, the more damage is dealt to the target. It would be such a refreshing change for titans while also fulfilling a niche role that could be built around. I know this is wishful thinking and a pipe dream to be sure, but it’s fun to imagine where this game could go!
