I don’t see the usability in this exotic. The fundamentals is a cool perk but I think it should be built into it rather than taking a crucial perk slot. It already feels like it has no real perk or uniqueness apart from the 3 waves. Not to mention it’s catalyst is a waste of time. Here are the basics that need to be addressed:
- give it an actual perk that makes it feel exotic. Maybe each element wave does something different like burn, make traces or have volatile for example.
- turnabout is very underpowered. The shield in pve especially is incredibly weak and offers no benefit in endgame.
- the catalyst should enhance or change the weapon, it feels a little lazy that it’s just a lame perk slapped on to the gun. There are many other much better options like chain reaction, ambitious assassin or lead from gold.
- make it stand out further from other wave GLs by giving it some oomph such as increasing damage to majors and bosses/ champions.
I definitely feel like there is improvement to be done as right now it’s just a clone of borealis and we already know how popular that gun is. Not to mention A bunch of legendary GLs far outclass this gun *cough* forbearance *cough*

I used dm for a while. When I heard that the cat was turnabout, I was a bit disappointed. But after trying it out, it was actually a good perk. My only problem is that graviton lance (an exotic that feels exotic) is getting its cat reworked to give it turnabout [b]and[/b] vorpal… Graviton: unique pulse, no falloff, kills create mini nova bombs, and now the catalyst is gonna grant overshield on shield break and vorpal. Dm: wave go that has a wider spread, adaptive munitions, and turnabout… You see where the problem is. I propose that we give it wellspring along with turnabout. And maybe we give it auto loading as a normal perk as well.
