the forum cannot assist with restrictions or bans. you will have to wait it out. that said, the restriction was placed only after a thorough examination by an actual person at bungie. depending on the length of time your restriction is in place, assuming is 2 weeks, this would have been the 2nd time you were caught with a bad connection. you would have had an on-screen prompt explaining you are having issues and if you continue playing this way you would be restricted.

There is no guarantee the appeal will yield a response (this is explained in the instructions before submitting it). Typically, a response is only given if Bungie needs more information or if they approve the appeal. You also said it only happened once, then said it happened in 2-3 games. If you lagged in those games, then you likely also lagged in others. Bungie determined that your connection was bad enough over multiple games (not just a small handful) to warrant issuing you a ban. First restriction is 2 weeks. Any additional restrictions are 2 months. Use this time to ensure you’ve done everything on your end to prevent lagging in the future.
