Connection issues

Been having connection issues all day, keep getting weasle and baboon error codes, have tried restarting console, have tested nat type and all that (all the options on the network settings of the xbox) have been playing other games in the mean time and they have not had any issues (multiplayer games like GTAOnline) it seems to only be Destiny having issues. I'm on the Xbox Series X, in the UK, ISP is Virgin Media. Haven't seen anything on the twitter page so thought I'd post this here

  • Same here constantly getting kicked out the game with baboon errors. ISP virgin and my nets running fine just can’t stay connected to destiny servers ! So annoying

      • Yeah, seems like Bungo broke the system on the latest update. I'm getting constant network errors since yesterday's update. My network connection is solid but still getting varied error messages from destiny

        • Yep exactly the same issue. Being told its Virgins fault by bungie. Seems like they are trying to pass the blame. Everything else works bar destiny.

        • In the South of the UK myself. Had the same issue since at least 9am this morning (11 hours ago for the non UK folks), its still the same now. Also being with Virgin Media I decided to ask them for some help, nothing they know of their end. Got the usual advice of restarting all the hardware etc, but I know this isn't a hardware issue as everything else works fine. This for sure started with yesterdays maintenance, it got steadily worse up until about 9pm last night, then this morning it was unplayable. I too have seen a few folks mention its not ONLY Virgin Media but cant confirm that for sure. What I can confirm is that my internet connection is working fine, all net speed numbers are fine, hardware is fine and my ISP says not a single issue they're aware of. Even did an online check with them and came back 100% A OK. Also, to put it on Virgin Media is quite the stretch IMO. To see issues my end of the UK as well as well up north 400 miles away in Scotland..... lol. Personally I'd say the guys at Bungie server HQ had better put the coffee down and have little peep in the Server shed.

        • Same here. I'm with Virgin Media in the UK. I keep getting Baboon errors ever since the server maintenance yesterday. Have checked on the Virgin Media forums and its not an issue on their end

        • I have also noticed server connection problems all day despite the fact that my own internet service is working fine. The problem seems to be on Bungie’s side. Strikes are lagging and the loot doesn’t drop. Lease address this ASAP
