Game Crashing issue since the 4th of January - Message to Bungie

Hello, My name is Schromi, together with @MLady we have some facts about the actually error and crashing issue in Destiny 2. All started on the 4th of January with a simple Maintenance hotfix. Before that, it was absolutely fine. The game started to crash on many PCs and gives you the BROCCOLI error, regardless of the OS (we have windows 11 and 10), driver version and GPU. We saw it happening on 980 Ti, 1080, 1080 Ti, 2080 Ti. Stop messing around with your computers if you want to avoid troubles: it's not your PC. We tried many ways to fix this even with the official help of Bungie's helping list to fix the error.. NOTHING works... Broken hardware can't be only broken for Destiny and collectively on the same date. Even if downclocking our cards shouldn't be a thing, we tried giving a -200 MHz offset, but still crashed. So we did our turn Bungie, now we believe it's your turn to look for this issue and actually give some useful feedback. Personally i really enjoy to play the game and grind for loot all day long but this is just terrible... We all wait for the Witch Queen but this HUGE PROBLEM is just killing our mood and hope for the new season and DLC... So i hope that Bungie sees this and actually start to think about it more.. i mean there are many posts out there now and now one got help... Kind Regards Schromi and MLady

I confirm the hotfix released on 1/20/22 does NOT fix the issue. Keep telling me to update my drivers, come on.

    • Bungie would have to care. They don't. The end.

      • Hello. Thanks for contacting us. You may want to review our BROCCOLI article for more information about this issue. If that doesn't help, here are a few suggestions some players have found to resolve this issue:
1. Enable "Game Mode" in Windows 10 or, if you already have "Game Mode" enabled, try disabling it. 2. If you use EVGA Precision for overclocking, you may want to disable that since it doesn't play well with Destiny 2. MSI Afterburner might be a good alternative to use. 3. In your Settings, cap your framerate to keep GPU usage below 90% to see if this helps. 4. If you have an NVIDIA graphics cards, see if the card stabilizes using NVIDIA's temporary debug mode. 5. Some players have reported that a mild underclock for GPU clock of around -100MHz and GPU memory around -50MHzz may help with this issue.
