Over 35 completes and only one exotic. Told myself I’d never do it again and I haven’t it was such a waste of time

I did a small test regarding exotic drop rates, master vs legendary a while back. Hunter: Legendary: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 1 exotic to drop Master: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 3 exotics to drop. Warlock: Legendary: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 0 exotic to drop Master: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 2 exotics to drop. Titan: Legendary: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 0 exotic to drop Master: I ran 10 runs (flawless) and got 1 exotic to drop. Of course it’s all rng and luck. But I felt running master will give you a higher chance at getting exotics vs legendary runs. This is why I stop doing legendary runs. Only master.

RNG is RNG but statistics have shown that Legend has about 20% chance and Master being near 30%. I wholly agree on running Legend on some of the more difficult Sectors because of the length of them. Some Lost Sectors are absolutely unrewarding like the Moon because of how densely packed they can be taking longer than needed. Dreaming City is a good place minus Chamber of Star Light because of the enemies being Gated a bit compared to the rest. I prefer Bay of Drowned Wishes and Aphelions Rest. I primarily farm the Empty Tank on the Tangled Shore on Master because I can clear it in 3 Minutes average on my Warlock and Hunter. Haven't farmed for my Titan as much as them because of lucky world drops. I my opinion? The drop rates could be better for both difficulties with maybe an escalating drop chance for people that put the time commitment in. Its currently too much of a time sink hence why I prefer a few specific Master spots. Perdition (Europa) Bay of Drowned WIshes (Dreaming City) Aphelions Rest (Dreaming City) Empty Tank (Tangled Shore) These are the few I can complete on Master in a 3 to 6 minute time window.
