Matchmaking need lane super focus super attention

1st off it’s a hybrid system. 2ndly gotta be proven bots in pvp just like a spell break battle Royale match, Bungie fills games with bots. So a hybrid Connection based skill system huh?! Why won’t Bungie release the algorithm system? It’s connection based because it’s peer to peer connection. Definition of connection based. Now the skill comes in when filling lobbies. Unless you are grouped and even then they will fill the lobby to first make sure enough people hence bots can come into play. From the bots involved they decipher the best six in the lobby. From the best six and the best connection peer to peer and distribute them. Out of the 12 if all solo in lobby the algorithm picks the top 3-4 and groups them, on average. That leaves about 8 left. From there they pick the best out of the 4 and group them up. Now you have 4 left left the bottoms like .58 kd avg. They then group the worse of the the 4 up for balance. Bout that time since bots are involved and due to time management of lobby and game finding they just ultimately group the bottom 4 together. Hence you notice after matches 3-4 with like .13-.50 kd. But after all who cares right the last 4 usually consists of bots. It’s pretty obvious bots are in play because if you spend time playing Destiny2 you know not to go pvp unless fully prepared with guns and armor. Those guys playing with blue armor are clearly bots because even if you are new light are new with friends you know better, bots do not. If anything why not place the humans against bots in your matchmaking algorithm??? We do it in pve why can us humans ban together against the bots in pvp??

Thus 1.1-1.5 is above average. 1.5 to 1.7 is excellent and you are starting to feel the affects of lobby balance and matchmaking. 1.5-2.0 you are expected to carry new light, bots, and all other variables lower than your skill. 2.0 kd plus you are expected to hard carry every game and bots fill your team on solo Que matching up. As you can see the new players are given a better experience to keep them playing as veteran players who are highly invested are expected to carry solo Que to just fill lobby balance. Grouping up is the only solution to breaking this sort of algorithm. How does this appeal to the invested veteran that worked to get gud when all you do is punish them for getting good? As stated enjoy the game and play to have fun. Being lobby balanced out matched every game going into games with a predetermined 30% chance of winning is definitely going to kill the mid to veteran solo players. However, those are your bread and butter customers that will endure the game even if it brings great distress. You appeal to the new ones give them the best experience but the guys that been here 7+ years you expect them to take whatever even bots because you know you got brand loyalty from them since they invested so much just to try and get gud. We got 3 years left why not appeal to the veterans?! Those guys should give your a higher ROI return on investment because they invested so much…. Game needs aid
