Respawn times being increased in Crucible should be reversed. Over the course of this entire week of IB, I have lost count of the numerous times I have died to someone who just killed me on the other side of the map. The longer times are allowing snipers, shotties, and corner fusion campers to reposition and kill you as you are respawning. This has especially been a problem on Cauldron where they sit between A and C points on the outside and snipe at exterior spawns. Also seeing it on Javelin-4 where they sit between A and C hoping between the spawn exits.

It's fine, it gives the team who just got the kill a very slight advantage, as it should. Reward for getting the kill, don't reward the scrub who just perished with an instant respawn.

Yeah it is....and bad as well.Imagine you wait that whole time to respawn only at the end to see the "looking for a spawn location" pop up and still get spawnkill by the very same super that killed you in the first place

Spawn switching in Control is way worse. You can lose a game because your team keeps pushing until you get spawn trapped. Learn how to camp people.

I’ve somewhat adjusted, but even having adjusted it doesn’t feel better than before when timers were shorter. I strongly preferred slightly shorter timers to allow us to get back in the fight quicker.

I dont usually care about most changes but it makes the match so slow, especially on maps that are already too spaced out. I like the fact that matches could end faster depending on how well played but these are just draining.

Get killed by dude in his super then you get spawned right by him so you get killed a second time.

It was actually implemented in such a way so that it encourages only one team to have supers. By the time that team gets to use all of theirs, the other team is mercied and doesn't get to use theirs. It is Bungie's effort to promote cyber bullying. It's actually a huge leap forward in their recent push for mental health. They're hoping to do as much mental harm to the player as they can. Respawn and there is a Warlock in a rift charging a fusion 5 feet from me. Burning Shrine I respawned at B five times to 4 of them standing there with fusions.

Yea, I think their test shows the longer times are both negative for gameplay and not well-received by the community. I agree OP, and i'm pretty confident they'll not move forward with this "feature" in the future. I don't begrudge them for trying something out though.

I would be ok with it if the spawns would have become better because of it. But they're as bad as they've ever been. So what's the use of the longer respwans?🤷♂️

I usually complete iron banner on all 3 of my characters but the respawn timer has me not wanting to do it at all...

100% agree. These delay spawns need to be addressee sooner then later because out of all the problems pvp has right now I really think this one is on top of the pile. It funny also because it one thing bungie can easily fix too.

Spawn locations and times are awful. I’ve experienced both sides - spawn killing people I’ve just killed because I’ve made it to the other side of the map before they respawn, as well as getting spawn killed because of the long timers.
