A cool concept idea I thought of would be exotic shaders where there is more of a visual effect on the shaded such as like a taken effect. I think this would be really cool for fashion but please don’t put it behind a pay wall
-
I like this idea as well. Blueshift Dreams has a “water ripple” sort of effect on it. Forge shaders also have a “magnetic field” kinda look to them. Side note - the Celestial Kestrel ship with Blueshift Dreams on it is probably one of the best ship/shader combos I’ve found.
but please don’t put it behind a pay wall
They'd have to do this and/or put it behind raids.. and I'd hate that cause I can't do raids.

Yes. I love this idea! Like, exotic shaders give visual 3D effects, maybe like a hive one that have the red spikes coming out, or maybe ones that give you plants kinda like old vex. Maybe even a SIVA one with SIVA things flowing around you. But especially taken haha! -
That sounds cool as long as it didn’t turn into the situation that the one shader had in D1…..that being hit with a hundred -blam!- messages every time you went to the tower. Never could wear the damn thing LOL
-
You can only wear 1 exotic shader at a time
-
Bring back glowhoo, and every other glowing shader, bring an all black shader. Man I hope they make better shaders someday.
-
Cool idea, it would make sense to put it behind raids and endgame activity's.

Should be a side reward for completing master raids, GM’s and getting flawless in trials.
But we all know Bungie would just throw it in eververse
-
A shader like that would have to be really special. So many shaders are Meh at best.
-
They can't even get the shader colors correct - how is Jacarina powder blue? If I put a gold shader on my falling start armor piece, why does it come out red and white? They should fix the regular ones first before coming out with exotics
-
I think that’s a good idea! The only other idea for shaders I had was totally customisable on that bungo sets out a list of colours, then you choose like 3 of them to add to your shader like primary, secondary and tertiary. I personally think like 90% of the shaders are meh, so this would at least let you create a perfect shader
-
You KNOW they will. They always do.

Love this idea
