The car industry was worried about their bottom line? LOL. You realize that Elon Musk is worth over $200 BILLION right now? Right? Again, we disagree on the solution to these problems, if that makes me a Libertarian then OK. Label it any way you want. How many Al Gore cars are out there? I'll wait. The "science" needs big giant quotes when guys like Al Gore get in front of cameras and tell us that the world is ending in five years and then asks for money. The scientific process requires waaaaaaaaaaay more scrutiny than a report generated by someone for the people funding their "research". Again, if there was any oversight, any accountability or any results whatsoever then I'm on board. But spending billions and billions of dollar and billions of dollars on telling people to recycle more isn't the answer. PS: I'm the wrong guy to argue with about military spending. If it was me there would be 0 foreign aid and the military budget would be a fraction of what it is today. This isn't the Cold War. We don't need bases in every country, we don't need to outfit every ally and enemy of our enemy with weapons and we don't need to be the police for every corner of the planet. Again... enough is enough.
