Remember when they told us that the millions they rake in from eververse sales would go to funding the release of future content like dungeons for free? And then they turned around and said, “it’s our 30th anniversary, we’ve got some more paywalled content for y’all!”
Every single person defending this action is complicit in furthering the monetization of the game. You’ve shown them that they can outright lie to the player base and not only get away with it, but be praised for it. If you think the buck stops here, you’re sorely mistaken. I’m all for supporting a company where they deserve it. But I’m not giving them more of my money for the development of a separate IP when this game is still borderline busted. There are still glitches in years old raid content that have never even been addressed. But “Give me money! Money me now! Me a money needing a lot now!”

Given that they are looking to have the dungeons next year as standalone pieces of content that can be paid for, I suspect you will be able to buy the dungeon for $10 at the start of the Witch Queen.
furthering the monetization of the game
kind of curious why you think bungie (or any game developer), makes games? out of the goodness of their hearts? lol

Edited by Prophet: 12/8/2021 5:06:58 PMNot at all what I said. You’re choosing to ignore the part where they promised that their eververse micro transactions would fund dungeon content, and then turned about-face and pretended that never happened. I take no issue with a company attempting to make money on their product. I DO take issue with a company lying to make money on their product.

Big brain rebuttal. Such smart. Much wow. If you feel their actions are defensible, defend them. Put your baby diq back in your trousers and communicate your ideas like an adult.
