That's ironic. Thank you, - for what? Bungie's development, no offense, has reached with this anniversary the level of a "junk shop". It's nothing new, or impressive, it's just recycled mapping and items, like so many times before. Not even the approach of effort is to see. It's just like Bungie opened one of his many dusty drawers and pulled a few old polygones out of it, to mix another event. That's miserable at it's best. - And to be perfectly honest, I don't expect something better from The Witch Queen. Just recycling (of content), again. There's no fire anymore.

  • My dude what game literally can just make every gamer happy about everything that it releases . Seriously . Appearently every person who plays the game is a professional game maker and knows how to make content

  • Stardust, I think you need to stop playing the game. You have become bitter and it's time for you to take a break, I think. Go and play some other games for a few weeks. You might come back with a fresh mind and see some positivity. This is one of the best content drops in a looooong time!

CoolFusion, I'm not bitter - I only reflect. Five years, I think that's more than enough time to form a opinion. I bought anything since the release at Battle.net. That's the first time I did not. Say what you want - and if you like it, have fun, I don't blame you -, but it's the same... over and over again. That's "cheap". There's nothing wrong with being economic, but this game lost his soul. It's a sad boneyard of remainings from the original, which was exploited and locked away. The remnants are still everywhere, visible, but not accessible anymore. The DCV is now a inherent part of Destiny 2, Sunsetting was executed for the second time, Eververse has multiple new monetizations, and there is recycled content all over the place. One has to be very tolerant to ignore such agenda. With content of two years filtered out, I would have give away the 30th anniversary pack to everyone. But that would be the opposite of greed, and IMO the opposite of Bungie.

  • I mean, I hear you, but the thing is, it's a 30th Anniversary content drop. It's designed to bring back nostalgia. I've played since year 1 D1 and it does get repetitious at times, but they do have a very good product. I would just take a break. You may find that the cost vs value is better than you think it is right now. If not, delete the link to this forum and don't look back. You'll probably be happier for it. There's a few of us who still love this game and enjoy what it has to offer. D2 Population: December 06/7 Overall: 745.51k PvE: 628.00k PvP: 313.98k Gambit: 102.69k Raid: 73.26k Trials: 136.04k

There are almost eight billion people on this planet. Your numbers are quantitative. I represent myself. I got my opinion and I don't need numbers to make a inventory: the quality is bad - it's not a good product who takes away what was paid before. Anyway. Enjoy what it has to offer.

  • Wow, OK, you just like to argue, it seems. Enjoy your opinion, I'm going to go play a fun video game and get away from real world problems for a while.

  • I understand. It's just that the game brings his own problems with it. I can't ignore that. It has nothing to do with arguing, I talked about facts like the Destiny Content Vault, Sunsetting, Eververse and recycling... okay, it's a anniversary event, but the permanent recycling makes it look like a permanent event. At the end of the day it's just a game, but that does not change the bad aftertaste Bungie leaves behind with his agenda. To make that clear, it's not about that event in general, it's about anything since 2017.

  • I'm a beta D1 player and haven't left it. I think most of the things they do for the game are for the betterment of the game in the long run. Including sunsetting and vaulting content. Vaulting content is also a technical decision. The game can't get too big for technical limitation reasons. But, like I said before, I think it's time for you to go check out some other games. I think you will find that this is still a great game and well worth the cost.

  • Same for me, sometimes when you get burnt out it’s best to take a break for a couple of months. I went and enjoyed a few other games now I’m back and having a blast

  • Well yeah when they’re making an anniversary they’re going to use old set pieces That bring nostalgia as well as returning classics of weapons. It’s a good event since it makes sense for an anniversary. And it’s free besides the dungeon. So why not thank them for doing a good job and giving us this free content???

  • And yet everyone I’ve talked to on my Discord is absolutely over the moon. I’m beginning to think the problem might be the small minority of people that seem to be unhappy with anything that Bungie does.
