So Is the [b]Halo[/b] Magnum M6x as lethal/OP in D2 as it was in Halo 2 Sidearm or Pistol in D2 ?

  • The destiny 2 magnum is from halo ce not halo 2. It was absolutely busted in halo ce and they really did a good job with it. It feels just like it did in halo.

  • Definitely the M6D from Halo CE not Halo 2 that pistol while fun to rapidly empty the mag was never great

    Does it still get the clear sight lines & x2 zoom (Reach)? Shame it’s not the 240 RoF from Halo CE Or any of these M6C magnum - 'Up-sized', armed with High Penetration ammunition, black polymer finish. M6C/SOCOM - Accurized, Issued with smart-linked 4× scope VnSLS/V 6E, sound suppressor, muzzle brake, and black polymer finish.Also designated 'M6S'. M6D magnum - 'Up-sized', and officer's model armed with High-Explosive ammunition and featuring a KFA-2 x2 scope

  • It’s really similar to Reach’s magnum. Not too great at close quarters but pairs great with an SMG or another sidearm. It’s a 3 headshot kill in 0.6s up to 50m. Really hurts if you can’t hit headshots though. Think special ammo Not Forgotten.

  • I mean, I think so? It’s pretty fun in PvE and with scavengers you can get quite a bit of anmo for it in PvP and it’s a relatively easy 3 shot. Wouldn’t really be super viable in Trials unless you’re an absolute crack shot. Range is pretty good too. Not quite Halo CE Magnum range, but you can still take pretty long duels with it.

    I think it would be even more potent with bow swap combo since the weapon does more damage to unshielded targets yeeeees? Crack shield with bow, 1 tap magnum. Edit: just seen some content creators did that exact build, does it really do 70 to the head on cracked shield?

  • I have it but haven’t used it yet, the perk says it deals more precision damage to unshielded targets so I figured cracked shields would boost damage like in halo.

    It does have 100 range (for its archetype) & I’m reading on Twitter that it’s currently dominating crucible (So I expect it to be nerfed before I’ve even had chance to log in & acquire 🤦🏻🤬😆)
