3 Forsaken Exotic Ciphers Gone!
I got the 3 Forsaken exotic ciphers from the Monument to lost lights because they said they were free. Then after that 3 ascendant shards appeared and I thought they were free, but then my exotic ciphers disappeared! (Note: I know I missed where it said it, I've confirmed it with a friend that it does say they costed the ciphers to get it, but I never would have swapped them if I understood it clearly.) Is there anything that can be done to get rid of the 3 ascendants and get the 3 special ciphers back? I don't care to keep what I shouldn't have by keeping the ascendant shards too, the special exotic ciphers were what I really wanted. Please help, please?
This pack was the only solace I had for buying Forsaken and not knowing I was going to be vaulted. I paid full price for it right before they decided to make it free later, and nothing was done about that either.

I made the same mistake too and am so mad at myself... It happened so fast there was no warning or heads up. I still have the ascendant shards in my inventory and would trade them back for it in a heart beat. I thought the ascendant shards were free since I never got all the exotics.

I have not played the game in a while and when I heard that there were the Forsaken exotic ciphers I got them with the ascendant shards not understanding that the ciphers were how you bought them not the ascendant shards. I would give up the ascendant shards in a heartbeat. If anyone knows how to help or where to go it would be helpful.

Unfortunately I highly doubt Bungie will do anything directly, I’ve never seen them restore items to specific players. On the plus side, Forsaken is NOT free, the only free element is the campaign. Also, a good chunk of the Forsaken content is staying in the game, such as The Last Wish and The Shattered Throne dungeon. The only content leaving is the campaign, the tangled shore destination, and 2 strikes
