  • Sad that this is posted by different guardians daily for years but it just ignored by bungie daily .I do agree more vault space is needed 900 spaces instead of 500 would be perfect for collectors and average gamer alike wouldn't it be nice to have 900 vault spaces and never have to see this type of post daily not saying you won't get the odd few that will still say its not enough but surely it wouldn't be daily

  • You'd just fill up whatever they give you. This is why sunsetting is good. Would you be willing to pay extra silver for more space?

Go through your vault and delete anything you haven't used in a month or more that's what I did and I got 300 spots free in my vault and I've been playing for a year

      • This is why we need a re-roll option. Collections are absolutely worthless

        • You're going to have to wait until they have a content drought or a season with too few features ready before they will boost vault space. It's a easy thing for them to hold onto and use as a selling point some time in the future. There is no reason other than this that we don't get unlimited vault space, well unless the dev team is really just that bad at coding the game... though thinking about DCV and the reason given, it might be the reason we have such small gear storage.

The minute sunsetting got removed and became unlimited for gear, we needed vault space and a new collections system. You can’t keep adding content and expect the only solution for players is to delete their content they spend hours and months grinding. All they need to do is address the Collections system that hasn’t been updated since the game launched. It could allowed players store majority of the sunset content inside of it for use later or at will while using the vault for the current season and the few seasons before. The system could also take in account your exotic weapon numeric counts of kills and the last power level associated with it. The exotic armor needs to retain the same stats it had beforehand if you deleted it for a better stat distribution and retain the same power level as well. The players who assume we are the issue with vault space are beyond clueless considering how many pieces of armor, weapons with different perks and exotics that are in the game along with content being fed to us each season. We haven’t had a change to vault space since Forsaken and it is long overdue. Think about the events that are taking place right now: 30th Anniversary (Dungeon, 6-Man Activity and additional loot) Iron Banner The Dawning or Moments of Triumph next week Any content that hasn’t been discovered by players ie Raids, Other Dungeons, Heroic Lost Sectors, Nightfalls, Gambit, PVP. The list goes on, the grind doesn’t stop and the vault/collections system as a whole remains to be unchanged or re-evaluated to fit the current state of the game as a whole. Collections only worked for static rolls and we have not been in that atmosphere for years. It is literally a placeholder with armor and weapons that cannot be obtained, used for end game content, ornaments in transmog or being re-issued as gear for content. At the end of the day, we as consumers only play the content and give feedback, we cannot change the setup or design within the game that is flawed and having players believe the only solution to fixing our vault is deleting our well earned content is a huge slap in the face via the effort, commitment and time spent to achieve it.

            • Have no idea how a person with three characters manages the vault space . I have one character and was full yesterday. I haven’t got too many duplicates. Over the years just collecting items I liked .

What a bunch of hoarders. I would hate to see the state of closets and refrigerators in your homes. Anything you haven't used in the past six months should probably be shredded.

              • Agreed, I keep floating in that 480-500 space having to dismantle items. Couple good roles were put to rest.

              • Agreed. Especially now with 30th anniversary, the dawning and Witch Queen. I like to keep stuff around specifically for PvE, when i get bored using the same weapons and for the times a weapon you dismantled a year ago is now taking souls in Crucible.

              • as a man datto said "if i haven't used the weapon in 2 or so seasons, whether it's a godroll or trash, I delete it from my vault unless it's something special or unique" for example, his 40k kill recluse is something special for him, because he said himself that conisdering how often he switches weapons, 40k is quite a bit maybe, instead of keeping something for what if, only keep things you know for sure you'll use

              • The vast majority of people with vault problems are holding onto actual trash in their Vault. I'm not necessarily saying that's the case for you, but it is for most people. I'm constantly having vault space issues, but I would say I'm part of the very small percentage of people that hold onto certain niche items that are used in builds for very specific activities (such as solo or endgame challenges). Genuine question, what is taking up most of the space in your vault, weapons or armor? If it is weapons, are you trying to keep 1-2 of every weapon or are you holding onto weapons based on archetype? If it's armor, are you holding onto every good rolled item above let's say 65+? I ask because there are some easy things you can do to trim down your vault if you are holding onto multiple items that are essentially equivalent. Also, I HIGHLY recommend D2 Checklist for Vault Management, it is a great way to compare like weapons and armor to each other so you can easily find items to get rid of, plus you can link it to DIM which makes it incredibly easy to mark items as Keep or Junk.

                • Just dismantle stuff you don’t need. I usually hang around the 300 space (because I keep armor on characters) and I don’t get attached to in-game guns that I don’t use. I do keep some stuff I don’t use/that isn’t good just in case (like 1-2 PvE shotguns), but not “oh I definetly need 10 PvE shotguns and can’t wait for these 7 360 AR’s to be useful” cause that’s just dumb

                • Before every new release I clean the vault. I try to get it around 385/500. There’s some tough calls to make; but I don’t see Bungie upping the cap anytime soon.

                  • Does not even matter as I quit this game when D2 launched and have no issue doing it again There are plenty of issues with this game and vault space is one of them. For what ever reason they keep kicking the can down the road and just won’t address them. The same topics pop up in these forums month after month. At the very least we could get load outs THAT TAKE MODS INTO ACCOUNT But no I have to waste my time changing stuff based on the activity I want to run Got a feeling they will suffer another player exodus if the witch queen is below expectations Sadly a reduction in the player base is the only way to implement positive change around here

                  • I just cleaned out about 150 items. Sad to see some go, but at this point I don't have any choice. Hopefully when weapon crafting comes, it will help to get rid of excess stuff.
