Solo players need matchmaking
seriously bungie, I love Destiny but stop locking triumphs behind stuff that doesn't have matchmaking.
I just want to que up and run stuff, I don't want to come here and use the forums to find a group, I don't want to use Xbox LFG section and no I don't have a clan for the same reasons I've already stated
I Might consider finding a clan when you finally add text chat to the game in a month or two
even Warcraft figured out not every one has 5 friends so they added a LFR que so every one can do the raids and such

Thanks to Brosgold2004(twitch), I got true it after looking for one team in LFG for a long while. Still need catalyst run. Mechanics are simple, difficulty fair bit easier than the other ones, just by pointing/shooting he told us what to do. Dungeons really need matchmaking, and if Bungie thinks it's to hard than gives use a easier version, just so randoms can learn. From personal experience the quality of players is only slightly better in LFG compared to matchmaking.

1 ReplyLove to see the ongoing discussion some one said destiny is a Social game except it has Zero social features built into the game, where's the social hub ? why not add the websites LFG tools to an ingame menu sure that sounds great, I'm looking forward to the text chat being added and hope people use it to recruit in game I'm generally uncomfortable talking to people I don't know on mics or phones, but chatting doesn't bother me, so I got my wireless keyboard sitting next to my Xbox and I eagerly await chat being added

Yeah, especially with how dickish a lot of the community is, I understand. Also it'd be cool if Bungie spent their money on fixing their servers and making them better.

It is absolute garbage that Cuts sully gameshow doesn't have matchmaking on hard. The light level isn't even that high. C'mon...

Where people go to sell recovs, or add their stupid elitist requirements to be apart of their fireteam, because face it at the end of the day you not good enough because you don’t have 10 clears on a content that came out 24 hrs ago. Lol, yea use LFG it’s easy! Follow the process they set out and you’ll miss out because someone else bypassed the process. Oh and if you get tired of watching the people make the same mistakes so you suggest something else and you get kicked because your a try hard. LFG is a great place! especially if your in the mood to suck start a m4. Adding MM doesn’t affect your fireteam or clans, doesn’t need to be dumbed down but if someone can solo something then there is literally no reason why that same activity shouldn’t have matchmaking. People who are against matchmaking are doing the same thing that they’re complaining about people asking for matchmaking like the game have to be cater to them. It’s the same thing with streamers using other peoples accounts to test weapons because they’re too lazy to go grind the weapons out but no one said -blam!- about that do you wanna call people lazy goat talk to your favorite you tuber and ask them why they’re lazy and why they can’t grind out weapons like everyone else has to. They’re the ones who deserve your lazy speeches. But people who work for a living and deal with the very worst of humanity don’t wanna come back and have to deal with this community as I already said I’d rather suck start a m4 then deal with 90% of you kids.

Chat needs to be added, etc. You shouldn't have to go outside the game to create a fireteam. It's almost 2022, update your shiite Bungie. For a supposedly social game, it's extremely anti-social...

1 ReplyNothing is locked by Bungie from solo players. The only thing locking those items you mentioned is your pride of remaining a “solo” player. I don’t like talking on mics but I still have a brain so I know how to use lfg.

This isnt a solo game, go to LFG and get friends. This game is an MMO so play it like one. You dumb -blam!- never learn do ya? Its been 7 years of Destiny stop with this "Im a solo player playing this MMO, why arent you catering to ME Bungie?" Grow up, join an LFG discord or something and get some -blam!- done. Its honestly pathetic at this point.

These posts are getting annoying. Just grow a pair and use LFG. In the case of dungeons, those can be solo’d so that shouldn’t even be an issue.

How is that different from using LFG? it takes literal seconds to fill up a fireteam

Can't wait for them to eventually add it, and then the same people begging for it are going to be whining about getting bad teammates. You've done the same with trials matchmaking, so now it's just a matter of time.

All Bungie needs to do is take this LFG system here/on the app and code it in the game. There doesn't need to be match making as 20 minute normal Dares runs show sometimes randoms don't care enough.
