The lack of abilities just made stompees even more OP.
I didn’t think that was possible.
Edit: Hunters are in denial. If they weren’t good, you wouldn’t be crutching on them.

Players want to go fast. This is a known advantage in gaming, Warlocks, the fastest, titans, the second fastest & hunters… Hunters are your basic class. Your basic players do not think outside the box. I assure you.. hunters have options that will be far more annoying then stomps.. Number one will be jesters.. Wormhusk… Bombardiers for the extra aggressive effects on arc class(the best class for hunter after the nerfs) Bouncing knives that one hit kill and auto-aims as long they bounce twice.. See.. you KNOW how a hunter will play now.. Warlocks & titans? It is a wait and see which tricks they have up their sleeves.. People keep thinking the tools given to us are the skill sets.. it is not. It is the players.

I find it really sad you can't deal with stompees. All it is faster movement, better slides, and higher jumps. Yea every hunter use them cuz of that but what can you say? The faster you move the faster you get kills. Titans and warlocks have exotics that are broken too. Some took a whole year to be nerf while others are now being used. But hey jumping and moving faster is considered broken.

Wait whahah this is so funny. Are you telling the community without you’re ability you honestly have to have movement skill in combination with gun skill so movement has become more powerful when the ability cooldown is bigger. Wow who could have seen that one coming. Maybe bungie wants it that way. Whahahah

3 RepliesTransversive so the same thing, dunemarchers do the same thing and to advocate for a stompee nerf makes no sense. Stompees are the only reason hunters can jump while the other classes can cross those distances with ease.

3 RepliesThe fact that it has not been touched/nerfed since release is justification enough. Things need to change just like the abilities did. We'll see if Bungie pulls the trigger. I know this is completely unrelated and unnecessary, but I get the feeling people would outright quit if they get nerfed hard... Idk... I just get that vibe from y'all lol.

I cannot agree at all. Assuming you talk about PvP there are plenty of extremely strong exotics, especially after the Hunter dodge nerf that doesn’t break following effects anymore. Grenades btw have mostly about the same cooldowns they had before.

Ugliest exotic in the game and the ornaments are no better. I deleted a set with 65+ base stats based on my utter disdain for the look of them alone.

Anyone who didn’t expect movement exotics and passive exotics to get wayyyy better after ability nerfs just doesn’t play pvp.

2 RepliesAs well as Dragons Shadow. A +50 buff to mobility means you can run 50 but have 100 for regen after dodge. Even after the kickstart nerf it’s by far the best way to spec your dodge

I’m calling it they will get some sort of nerf when witch queen drops. They have been the top dog exotic since they came out in this game and it’s about time they get the nerf.
