From the start it was fun exiting, having a good laugh with the traps, defeated the first boss and then the -blam!- show starts.
Racing your sparrow to defuse mines while being shot by every enemy to defuse mines on a ridiculously short timer killed my motivation. Yes there's nodes to extend the timer but that doesn't matter when you are being team shot by enemies and usually one is a sniper. So you either die en route or your sparrow gets destroyed and the cool down takes too damn long causing a wipe.
This part of the dungeon alone makes me hate it and not want to do it anymore after I complete it once. When I have more free time on the weekend I'll try it again but for now, I'm not wasting anymore time on it.
Edit: I do not have the Scourge of the Last sparrow Always on Time.
I watched a few videos of people doing it with a fire team and solo. First time I tried it, it was with a two man fire team, died multiple times which led me to give up. Tried soloing it same thing.
Since I don't have Always on Time I tried using any other 160 sparrow. One with shorter cool down between summonings and one with enemies are less aggressive toward you while riding. No matter what they are still aggressive as -blam!- and killing me before I get near them or after.
After watching multiple videos I literally feel like the enemies are purposely missing there shots but when I try it they don't miss a single damn shot.

It’s easy af. You don’t have to sit on the line you just drive through it and it completes it
-
Nope it’s quite fun actually. Bloody marvelous.

Guardian,Archon Of Light
Blade Of The Traveler - old
I know what you mean , it's almost like you have to keep trying untill you get lucky ,that's what me and my wife did ,we both hate it but we made it through it ,the next section is a nice relaxing go at your own pace encounter, gave us time to destress before the final boss The sparrow section sucks, but the rest of it is awesome,I like it much better than all the other dungeons -
There’s a certain route that helps keep you safe from the dregs and snipers. Honestly not very hard. Master mode is a bit rough though, I’ll admit that
-
You don't need a special sparrow, but there does seem to be some luck involved with how accurate the enemies are.
-
really recommend getting always on time since you dont have it. Its not rng like it used to be I got it on my 76 loot clear of SotP all you have to do is get some easily farmed spoils of war. The sparrow part is the least of my worries about farming it. The fallen shield area is such a momentum killer for the dungeon imo. RNG mob spawn and looking across the map is never going to be fun to me and you def dont need three people to do each one. The easy solution to "fix" this encounter would be just to spawn all the mobs and let people tackle them one at a time if they want or speed run everyone goes to a different platform and takes the shield down much faster.
-
Heresy. This new dungeon is the most fun yet.
-
The sparrow part is the easiest encounter…
-
Heresy i say!!! Heresy!!! That dungeon had me on the floor laughing at the bobytraps...its also well done and fun but you have a right to your opinion.
-
Simple - Uninstall
-
I did the sparrow section third try with a friend last night on my first Dungeon run, but it might have been because I have Always on Time on. Gonna be throwing on another sparrow next time I do it and see if I find it frustrating, but I genuinely enjoyed the thrill.
-
You can do it with a sword and no sparrow. Look on utube
-
Equip Riskrunner. It gives passive arc resist.
-
Nah the sparrow part is the best part. Such a big relief after completing it Greg intensity!
-
Personally my least favorite dungeon. Encounters are long and tedious, half of the dungeon requires little to no shooting, bosses are bullet sponges. My first impressions of a dungeon are always from a solo run and I don’t doubt that this dungeon is fine when played with 2-3 players, but it is miserable solo.

Get the scourge sparrow

Edited by kellygreen45: 12/8/2021 10:45:29 PMWatch videos. They will show you the optimum route. Grab a 160 sparrow. Preferably that Harry Potter broom if you have it. It’s labeled a 160 but I’d bet good money that it’s actually faster, and it’s more agile. My run got MUCH easier after I ditched my first sparrow for the broom. One man focuses on the most efficient route to defuse the mines. Another focuses on the switches. Third is a backup in case one dies or gets off course. Lastly, the first two needs to be on their sparrows BEFORE the doors open. It’s doable. Your team just needs be focused and efficient.
-
Too bad. I take offense anyway.
-
If you can’t pass that section it’s your own fault. It is one of the coolest parts of the dungeon.
-
Use the Always on Time sparrow As soon as sparrow takes any damage, instantly hop off and instantly summon another
-
I havent tried it because of the sparrow part. But i paid, so ill have at least try it for the chance to get the new handcannon. I careless about that Ghalla that everyone is horny for.
-
Haven't tried yet on master... the sparrow "racing" part is going to be a nightmare. (I hope I'm wrong)
-
Feel the opposite. Its my favorite dungeon yet.
-
I mean, Scourge of the Past had more dudes shooting at you during it's sparrow race
-
Disagree. Was the most silly fun I’ve had in a dungeon.
-
My plan is “sherpa” new people and explain the mechanical parts of the dungeon and let them die to traps.
