I actually believe that this game would have been cheaper and content richer in the long term if they stayed with acti. it`s 90% reheated content with a manpower of 600 employees. they must be mixing their money in shakes and gulp it down...

Nope. Just look at what Activision is doing to Call of Duty. That’s what they wanted for Destiny. Color me uninterested. I was ready to walk away from this game, because the year of Forsaken was so bad.
-
Idk activision would have probably make bungie make a crouch grab emote
-
Nah, D2 vanilla and year 1, was where Activision wanted to go. No thanks.
-
When you look at how Activisions treated their employee's and all the investigations done, I have a hard time believing that D2 would be cheaper. Given that all the money goes to CEO's and -blam!- board members.

You have no idea what is happening in game development.
-
You're probably right, it's likely way worse behind the scenes.
-
Where are you getting the 90% nonsense? The weapons are literally completely new and the 6-player activity has totally unique locations/maps with new mechanics. What exactly of today’s drop is reheated?
-
-
im not even talking about their current drop since I haven’t even played it yesterday. but I’m talking about my impression playing destiny the past years.

The Bulk of Bungle employees aren't working on Destiny, it's Matter and 2 other projects. Destiny is just the Cash Cow that funds development. Minimal work for Maximum Money..
The Bulk of Bungle employees aren't working on Destiny, it's Matter and 2 other projects.
Not forgetting that Smith openly said that they would likely never be able to deliver the amount of content without the additional staff and resources Acti provided.

what i mean is when I log into valheim 6 months later it feels like something happened and ppl are working on it. when I log into destiny I just pity my friend who just did run the same mission over and over every single day in the same gear using the same abilities and weapons doing the exact same thing to maybe get closer to max ilvl. and valheim has 1% of bungies resources. so do i see a problem where no problem is to be found?
-
Look, im not saying its all good and that d2 is currently good, but i really think that this is just nostalgia googles, and you forgot that forsaken for activision was a failure money-wise
-
The best content in destiny was made by high moon studio and vicarious vision, both activision studios
-
The best content in destiny was made by high moon studio and vicarious vision, both activision studios
But you alao have to remember that activision said that forsaken was a failure, and were searching for means to monetize the game further, and sure, you can say that bungie is doing it, but at this point it would be worse than the current things.
