Not that hard with practice

Always on Time.

Edited by AsthenicKarma74: 12/10/2021 3:16:43 PMIt is possible to do it without AOT, but it's a pain. Best way is to hug the rocks and the walls. And go serpentine when near dregs though. Don't ever see myself doing this flawless though, RNG sees to that. Also, you can jump off the sparrow if it takes damage. Instant sparrows are quick enough to jump off and jump back on. As long as your sparrow doesn't get destroyed at least.

The arc resist from Riskrunner works even on your sparrow.

Tbh this encounter reminded me just how god awful sparrows are i would love to see some better spawnable vehicles in destiny with more seats for fireteam members and can take more then 3 shots without bursting into flames

Always on time from the exotic vendor in the tower. The "less aggressive enemies" perk doesnt actually reduce how often enemies attack you(I think that would be really complicated to code) so Bungie just gave it -blam!- tons more HP than every other sparrow in the game. Feels like D1 sparrows imo, also its the only sparrow in the game thats 190 or 200 speed due to a bug thats never been patched and I hope is never patched and instead they increase all sparrow speed. Which is sad bc its the objectively best sparrow in the game and I havent swapped off since I got it.

I literally had to bring out a new sparrow everytime a new bomb came out to avoid getting slammed

Edited by dirtycar74: 12/9/2021 12:51:13 AMUse Always on Time for speed and less aggressive enemies. However, if you don't have it (or the spoils to get it), you can try using the EV-37 Voidstreak if it is available; you can find it in with the season 2 sparrows. It might not be as fast as Always on Time, but it has that other perk that makes enemies less aggressive to you while riding it, and every little bit helps in cases like this. Good luck!

An important thing to learn about the sparrow encounter is that you don’t have to stop or even slow down to dismantle the mines; so long as you pass through the rough middle of the circle you can disable them while traveling at full speed, even when using Always on Time. Knowing this can help you to avoid lingering in any given spot, reducing the amount of incoming fire you’ll be taking. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

That's what makes it challenging. You've got to play carefully and summon a new sparrow when needed or you're screwed. Learn the best routes etc.

Sounds like AoT's time to shine!

Always on Time is the only sparrow you should ever use, makes that encounter EZ
