Oh -blam!-, is it time to build another mansion?
i'm a tad confused as to why the villagers are having story time while their houses are bruming, but it's whatever.
• Nah that -blam!- gone
I tried to imply the villagers were gathered for a sacrificial ritual and Mags was telling the story, being super scary, to kill time until the moon was in the right position. But I also wrote this in like two hours with no editing so meh!
• Aww, i suppose the age of spooky costume parties is over
Ok, that kinda makes sense. The role of the villagers was pretty confusing for me. I couldn't really tell what they were doing or if they knew the vamps were there or what they wanted.
•
I wanted to do more with them, but I didn't wanna spend like a week obsessively editing things. It already hit close to the character limit anyway. Honestly, this is the first thing I've written in awhile and I just wanted to get the idea out of my head so I could move on to the others

Yeah, the hardest part is always getting back into it, making sure all those ideas don't dissipate away before you're done with them. You can always go back and edit later, if you want, but there's nothing wrong with pouring out pages for practice without having to worry about making it great. It's way better to write consistently than it is to get bogged down making one thing absolutely perfect. Actually, now that i think about it, i've had something i was meaning to touch up and post
• Meh, I can't be bothered to go back to old things here. Not like anyone's going to come back and read it again anyway.
