Using darkness to control void, arc and solar
Lore experts help me out here, got a interesting theory for you guys. The way we use our abilities is we use the light to control the fundamentals of the universe, those being void, arc and solar. Since we are getting the aspect and fragments treatment on the light subclasses, could we say lorewise that instead of using the light we are using the darkness to control these fundamentals? Given that we will be able to use aspects and fragments on them

Darkness does manipulate them but to a lesser degree. Dark and Light are meant to reflect the philosophy of the god who originated the power. So in technical lore sense, Darkness can manipulate these fundamentals. It just doesn’t because it wasn’t made to do so. Solar is a good example. It’s the energy of change. Well the Winnower doesn’t want change. So why would it incorporate that cosmic aspect into its power? That’s why it shouldn’t be a thing.
