Dear Bungie, why is there a transgender splash screen in Destiny 2? We understand your corporate core values. Most, if not all corporations, have similar core values. we agree with them and practice them daily. As a heterosexual, I personally don't care what gender, -blam!- , color, whatever anyone identifies with. We, as guardians come to Bungie to play Destiny 2 and to get away from the politics associated with anything , I mean anything. We respect your corporate core values but splashing your core values on the game screen really isn't necessary is it?

Reporting you for terms of service violation.

Point is , its not politics, its cultural. Im glad they do it.

You know, there is a simple fix for this? DON'T READ IT AND DISMISS THE POPUP! Is it so hard for you to push a button/key without reading something you don't care about???
-
Grabs popcorn 🍿, this should be interesting.

People are definitely over reacting to the pop ups. If you don’t like it then spend your time playing a different game it’s simple. Bungie is gonna continue to do this stuff so if that actually bothers you then maybe you shouldn’t play their game anymore. You’re not gonna convince Bungie to stop by making an angry forum post. At the end of the day it’s not a big deal. Trans people deserve some awareness. It’s not a bad thing to have that in a game. It’s not really gonna do anything positive but if they want to put that in a pop up that we can easily click out of then it literally is not an issue. I couldn’t care less if they had a big donkey balls awareness screen I would not be bothered.

Edited by Nox Lumina: 12/8/2021 6:55:48 AMYou aren't seeing the bigger picture, mate. It was probably the one for the emblem, the one you get for free redeeming a code. Where do you redeem that code? Bungie store. And maybe while you are there you see something you'd like to have. Very simple marketing trick, really. It all goes to charity I suppose, but yknow.

Black people's lives matter? Divisive political issue Trans people exist and they get support? Divisive political issue Support for lgbtq+? Divisive political issue

sad human being

cry about it
-
It’s a literal pop up
-
You're saying that you don't care, but you're upset about seeing a single pop-up to the point that you made this angry forum post. Get over yourself. If you can't handle pressing interact and moving on with your day, you're the one that needs changing, not Bungie.

Edited by Eatz: 12/8/2021 2:25:51 AMDoes this actually bother people, how do people who “don’t care” let this bother them this much lmao
-
If you truly didn't care, then you wouldn't be complaining and making this post.
-
Excuse me, what? This is joke right? Please tell me they didn't take their worthless virtue signaling that far...
-
If Bungie really cared about transgenders, they'd be promoting and donating to suicide prevention services.
-
You don't like being lectured to by corporations 24/7? Neither does most of the world.
-
its fine for bungie to violate their own code of conduct.
-
You be spitting facts
-
This post is going crazy I like it
-
I literally got banned last month for asking this very question
-
yeah, political beliefs aside, i think most ppl would agree that all forms of media are drowning in all of this type of stuff. gets a little annoying
-
A lot of people agree with you but won't share their thoughts because of the trolls and negativity that seems to follow topics like this. I agree I play this game to get away from all of the issues of society and forget about the daily grind, but Bungie seems to like bringing in political issues into their game and the grind of daily life. Its just another example of how out of touch they are.

Because our country is dying from within

I love the "sneak diss" of calling it out as a "corporate core value" and how almost all corporations have that same "value." Really shows just how shallow and meaningless it really is. When it stops being profitable or good PR, they'll stop doing it, just like all other "corporate values."

You know aside of what everyone else thinks I agree I’ve never seen an appreciation for hard working fathers or mothers what’s up with that
