PLEASE HELP! Need Cross-Save Deactivated
I have been trying for a while to figure this out, but I have had ZERO luck. I am hoping that someone can help me with this because it has been a JOURNEY.
I Have been unable to authenticate my Steam account so that I can use it with my XBox Cross-Save setup, but for whatever reason, the account will not connect or authenticate. It continues to tell me that the account I am signed into is not the correct account. I have tried everything to figure it out, but now i just want to deactivate the cross-save setup and just start over.
I waited the 90 days, because i bought silver and needed to do so. The issue now is that i cannot deactivate my cross save because I cannot authenticate my steam, which means i cannot deactivate.
Please help Bungie!
I literally just wanna play on PC.

If the system is telling you that the account you're trying to log in to is different from the one you have linked to Bungie.net, then, the one you're trying to log in to is different from the one you have linked to Bungie.net. You accidentally logged in with the wrong Steam ID when you linked it and set up Cross-Save. Please go to Steam's website, log out, then on the log-in page, use the Forgot Password link. After you enter the code, you'll see every Steam ID you have associated with the email you used. Most likely, you have a separate account you don't remember.
