I recently have trouble letting people join my fireteam via my join code with my Bungie name. People keep telling me that when they type in my join code they can't join for some reason. After some research, someone says that it's because I have my Bungie account linked to my PSN account (back in the D1 days) while it is also linked to steam at the same time which is where I play D2 nowadays, and this is causing the issue? Not sure if it's true or not so I want to test this theory but I encounter another problem which is that I can't unlink my PSN account from my Bungie account. It was an old PSN account I used to play D1 on and I haven't really use it in years. Now when I try to unlink it, it asks me to sign in but I already forgot the account sign-in information. (I personally think it's really weird that in order to "unlink" an account that's already linked, you HAVE TO sign in first to prove my ownership? Doesn't the fact that the account is linked to my bungie account proves I have ownership of both those accounts in the first place?) Is there anyway to unlink it without signing into it? Or fix the join code problem another way? Help!
