Ghost shells as ornaments for ghosts
Simple concept, simple idea, i hate that im locked to my current ghost because i dont want to commit another big set of cores every time some fancier ghosts comes out
So why not make it so the ghost shells are ornaments for just the base ghost, you are technically reskinning it anyways, why not just make them ornaments

By the grace of the god above, what the hell just happened, i log off and forge this forum and suddenly 88 notifications come in with arguments about how bungie will turn this into a money grind I understand that coding might be difficult for this idea, however, the monetization wont change as they are already getting money from the store with ghost shells as is, (Halloween shells, like come on, who doesn't want the sun in the palm of their hand), all i would ask of them is to add another square to the ghost 2ndary page, and have it hold all the ghost shells you have unlocked as ornaments, simple, might take a lot of coding, but simple idea. They get their money from ghost shells as is, and players get to enjoy dressing them up as they want

Like… masterworking them isn’t even expensive. It’s gotten to a point for me, where I just masterwork new cool shells by default. So… I’d have to swap my mods on my ghost rather than just swapping shells? Way too much work

Ghosts are so not that big a deal I wouldn’t care one way or another. So I knooooow bungie probably doesn’t. Could be wrong.

Don't ghost shells cost like 7-9 cores to masterwork? It takes 17 for weapons and shells take much less than that from what I remember.

What do you mean a big set of cores? Master working a ghost costs almost nothing compared to weapons & armor.

What does it matter, all ghosts have the same perks... Besides for the few mats it takes to level up another ghost, it would almost be the same thing. There's so much other -blam!- that needs attention before they make ornaments for ghosts.

Definitely a good idea. But I also really enjoy having my different ghost loadouts ready to go so I can just quick swap them. This just comes back to the fact that Bungie needs to have a loadout system in game. It's kind of ridiculous this doesn't exist yet.
