Unfortunately only the founders account can pass ownership to an admin. You would need to try to reach someone who has control of the account, keep the clan as is, or take the active members and form a new clan.

Yeah really I can't see why they wouldn't take a 3rd party's word and transfer ownership away from the person who created the clan, I mean THE NERVE!
