We went into that mission without any tutorials still cleared it just fine. It was more fun not knowing what to do as we did it.
Syn is amazing at solving puzzles.. I just add controled and dpsed and followed her. Lmao
-
Doing it the first time completely blind really was one of my favorite experiences in all of Destiny.
-
I really hope in the future when they go to add exotics they keep missions like presage in mind. It was a really well done mission.

Edited by Manslave2Eris: 9/27/2021 2:26:25 PMIf you want more entertainment... When the next dungeon drops go in blind AND have turn off your HUD. I've done that in quite a few activities over the years. Not as intense now that we have infinite kinetic ammo but still fun.
-
Same. I went into every dungeon and mission without walkthrough. And went in every raid except DSC after watching the tutorial from rick..we've woken the hive ..kackis.

The tutorial / guide part is about finding all the Data Pads, Collectibles and secrets. If you find them all, you can open a Door in the Gun Room which gives you an Ascendant Golf Ball and some other stuff (including a Triumph).
-
No tutorial video is how to do those sort of missions. Zero hour, the whisper mission, harbinger, and presage are all better done finding your own path forward. Put was that way as well, though it’s not true for prophesy. Can’t wait until this winter when my team and I fumble our way through the new dungeon.

Nice, congrats. Now you can do it on Master for the catalist, its the same with a timer.
-
I thought we couldn’t name and shame 🤔
-
Congrats! The first time through the mission, going in not knowing what to expect was a lot of fun.
-
-
I don't get payed enough to care
-
Didn’t ask. Don’t care.
-
Yes, it’s always fun to go in blind. I soloed most of it and when my friends hopped on I backed out did a play through with them and trolled them at the trash compactor and the spot just before the vents where you get sucked down Mach 5 (got them multiple times too saying they’re too slow). Fun times.
-
I did the same thing and i loved every moment of it it i love going blind into things
-
Congrats it’s fun figuring stuff out, day one raids are a blast if you can get 6 likeminded people to go in there and wing it
-
If you need help with the Master let me know!! I do Flawless Master carries. 🙂 for the Catalyst and Emblem.
-
Oh I absolutely agree that it’s better to play all the content without having some YouTuber tell you how to do it. The very concept of having content spoiled for you by watching someone else do it first makes no sense to me.
-
this all day. learning activities while in them. not being smothered by spoilers. having a team that enjoy it with you the same way.
-
i dont know why people have to follow a walk through anyway, learning / figuring stuff out is much better! good job!
-
Only thing I used guides on were the mysteries. Otherwise it was just blind. Way more fun if you go in blind. And you learn quicker imo.
-
I didn't know the mission had tutorials???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
-
Me and my friends did the same when it first came out it was creepy. We half expected to run into a Xenomorph or something.
-
I did the same on the day it released, I was stubborn and did it all solo but had fun doing the puzzles. After doing it a few times I think it's the perfect level of difficulty
-
100%. My friend and I went into presage when it released not knowing anything. We had a blast. Especially when the trash compactor started closing in on us and we were running around like headless chickens 😂😂😂 And yes, we got crushed.
-
Absolutely fantastic mission, we did it first time without a guide as well, and it was so much better that way. I’ve often hoped that Bungie would repurpose areas like Zero Hour, Whisper, Presage, and Harbinger, maybe build a strike or something in there, seems a shame to just let those areas wither on the vine.
