Well you had lots of loot regardless if you won or lost, you played random people of random skill levels so it was good games or bad games. It was fun too going flawless without any communication and seeing lots of people who've never been flawless finally make it flawless.
-
Week 1 was perfection. I miss it so much.
-
Week one was almost perfect. They saw record breaking numbers and decided to ruin everything for some reason.
-
Agreed. 100%. Week 1 was by far the best week. Matchmaking was fantastic, rewards were on point. Exactly what we want.
-
Freelance trials!
-
Trials is -blam!- trash.
-
Week 1 was a solid experience, even for those who aren’t big in PvP, like I am. I’m bad, but I held my own. Week 1 (9/10-14) was the most populated trials week, maybe since Trials of the Nine on September 15th, 2017, or since Trials’ debut on May 22nd, 2015.
-
They threw a bunch of loot at people. More people played so you were getting all skill levels. You are seeing less of both and at some point trials will be right back where it was. This mode can only be as good as the people supporting it.
-
It was new...everyone wanted to try Then came week 2 and everyone realized how it wasn't rewarding unless you farm flawless card Then the bad side of PvP community did what they are known best and mess it up for everyone

The current system is a compromise, and it appears to work just fine

Edited by Chucky: 9/27/2021 5:08:44 AMThey won’t listen to feedback, they will go off their data. Despite the many things that manipulate this data that probably isn’t being considered.
-
But Riker is a Captain now...
-
That isn’t sustainable.
-
No dude. Bungo has to kill what they create. It is their way. Always has been.

It’s crazy that they had so much positive feedback from week 1 yet in the following 2 weeks they’ve felt the need to change the matchmaking 2 times in different way and change the game made 1 time. Let the activity breathe for a bit. Should be at least 3 weeks of how week 1 was to see if it retained high numbers in first time flawless’, matches played, etc etc. Can’t get no data because you don’t have big enough sample pool. Now they have 3 different weekends data to compare against each other but each week was completely different for many reasons and they can’t say for certain if trials would continue a certain way with each alteration because they only did it once. While it shows that yes, bungie are now willing to go in and change stuff very quickly, it also shows a lacking of experience in these situations and possibly no one actually knows what they are aiming for with trials future. Wouldn’t be the first time that the captain is drunk and the crew are trying to stop a sinking ship.
-
I haven't noticed a change. What's different?
-
Yeah!!! Bungie needs to go back to giving everyone easy Flawless before they ruin their game!
