Into the Sleeping Star - Dungeon Concept

Into the Sleeping Star The Gate in the Glassway has opened, a link on both sides. The time has come to pass through the looking glass. I would value it greatly if someone would post this on the D2 Subreddit, just as long as you credit me. -Opening- The Dungeon begins inside the Glassway, on the Radiolarian bridge. (The area where you have to drain the Radiolaria to progress) There will be considerable amounts of Vex across the area, including several Wyverns. There is no real mechanics here, the goal is to simply progress across the area until you reach the Vex Portal at the end of the Glassway. Encounter 1: Ascended Mind, Submind of Quira In the center of the room, there will be a Vex Conflux, where the chest would normally be in the strike. Upon approaching the Conflux, you will be given a prompt to interact with it. Upon Interacting with the Conflux, you will be given the buff Radiolaria Grafting. This buff will have a timer of 30 seconds, killing you when it hits zero and spawning a Wyvern wherever you died. Until this Wyvern is killed, you cannot respawn. While holding the Radiolaria Grafting buff, Vex Enemies will not attack you, and you will have the ability to enter the two portals on each side of the main gate. After picking up the buff, one of the two portals will begin pulsing, and you can enter. When you enter the portal, there will be a conflux in the center, and interacting with it will cleanse the buff and teleport you back into the main portal room, and begin the encounter. Once the encounter begins, the Ascended Mind will enter through the main glassway portal and Fanatics will begin to rapidly pour out of the gate. After about twenty seconds, a group of vex will spawn and begin constructing a conflux. Killing the Vex will allow you to pick up the Radiolaria Grafting buff, which you can then use to see the correct portal and cleanse the buff inside the conflux. After cleansing the buff, a Overmind Minatour will spawn in the room, and killing it will grant you the Vex Override buff, which will allow you to pierce any vex shield. Upon returning to the glassway room, the Guardian with the Vex Override buff will shoot the boss’ immune shield and drop it, allowing for DPS to begin. After around 30 seconds, the shield will return and the cycle will start again. Upon defeating the Ascendent Mind, Submind of Quira, a chest will spawn in the center of the arena, which will drop either the Scout Rifle, Sidearm, or Class Item, along with Masterwork Materials. Encounter 2: Traversing the Forge Star After collecting the chest, the portal will re-open and allow the fireteam to pass through, leading to 2082 Volantis, a Vex Forge Star. This next area is a jumping section, with disappearing/reappearing platforms. There will once again be another conflux, and once getting the Radiolaria Grafting buff, you will see which platforms are safe to jump onto, and may travel across them alone. There will be confluxes along the way that allow you to cleanse the buff to prevent you from expiring, and upon cleansing the platforms will solidify for the rest of your fireteam to cross. Rinse and Repeat several times as you cross the gap, which gradually more Vex attacks until you reach the next area. Upon completing this section, there will be a chest containing either the Auto Rifle, Trace Rifle, Pulse Rifle, or Legs, along with Masterwork Materials. Encounter 3: Pinnacle Wyvern, Combat Mind Once the chest has been collected, a Vex Portal will open that allows the to travel to the Spire, the area the third encounter takes place in. In the back of the room, Quira, Blade Transform will watch the fireteam enter. When approached, she will summon The Pinnacle Wyvern, Combat Mind, and then leave the area. A debuff called Radiaria Poisoning will appear with a timer of 3 minutes. Fanatics, Hobgoblins, and four Minotaurs will begin to pour out from the four portals in the room. When a Minotaur is killed, a conflux will spawn in its place. Once all four Minotaurs are killed, a chime will sound, and one of the portals in the room will briefly become Ascendant. After this, one of the confluxes will turn dark, and give the buff Transcendent Graphing. Whoever holds this buff must go into the portal that turned Ascendent, and cleanse the buff at the conflux inside, which will then grant the Vex Override Debug. Like before, you can use this buff to pierce the boss' shield and begin the damage phase. After damage phase, a conflux will appear in the center, and grant the buff Radiolaria Grafting. Whoever holds this buff will be able to see a series of platforms, which they must traverse until they reach the top where a Red Conflux lies. They will cleanse the buff here, which in turn will reset the timer on Radiolaria Poisoning, finishing the cycle. Once Pinnacle Wyvern, Combat Mind has been defeated, a chest will appear that will drop either the Hand Cannon, Shotgun, Heavy Machine Gun, or Chesapiece, along with Masterwork Materials. Encounter 4: Quira's Pursuit After the defeat of the Pinnacle Wyvern, Quira will return in the back of the room. Approaching her will start the 4th encounter. Starting off, Quira will pull the guardians through a portal in the back of the room into a long corridor with a pit on the right. The goal of this encounter is to reach the end of the corridor. Once in the corridor, Quira will inflict Radiolaria Poison for 30 seconds on a random guardian in the fireteam. The inflicted guardian must reach a conflux and cleanse the buff, which will also grant the Vex Override buff in its place. This guardian must shoot glowing parts of Quira whenever she prepares an attack to prevent the other two guardians from dying. The farther you get down the corridor, the more rapidly Quira will attack the team, so the buff holder must be ready to move fast by the end of the encounter. Once you reach the Vex Gate at the end of the corridor, you must kill the Gatelord guarding it, then you may enter the Final Encounter. The rewards for this encounter are the Sniper Rifle, Fusion Rifle, SMG, and Gauntlets, along with Masterwork Materials. Encounter 5: Quira, Blade Transform Now at the heart of 2082 Volantis, Quira awaits your Fireteam. She stands in the back of the room, with six different lights across her body. The room, which contains six Vex Portals, one on each side, along with a conflux on each side of the area. In the center is an elevator that leads to the lower floor of the area, where 6 Taken Oracles await. Approaching Quira will begin the encounter, and Taken Vex begin to pour out of the portals around the room. One of the portals will have a Hydra exit it, and killing this Hydra will charge the conflux in the center. Once the conflux is charged, Quira will close the portals, and one of the six lights on her will glow followed by an Oracle's chime. You must take the elevator below to destroy the corresponding Oracle to prevent a wipe. After destroying the Oracle, Quira will inflict Radiolaria Poisoning for 1 minute on everyone in the fireteam, then reactivate two random portals. One guardian will pick up the Radiolaria Grafting buff from the conflux and enter one of the portals, and destroy the Oracle within, which will reset the timer on Radiolaria Grafting. Repeat this step with the other portal, and then return to the conflux to get the Vex Override buff. As soon as you obtain this buff Quira will attempt to attack you, simply shoot the glowing part of her body to prevent the attack and stun her for damage. When Quira reaches 5% health, she will open all six portals and send out a flood of Vex. Grab the Radiolaria Grafting buff, and enter the portal that has turned black. Destroy the Overmind Minotaur and the Oracle inside, leave the portal and deal the last blow to the Taken Mind. The rewards for this encounter are the Sword, the Bow, The Blade of Quira, and the Helmet, along with Masterwork Materials.
