Idea for a new Dungeon, pt. 1

Hello. Back in D1, I made Strike and Raid ideas frequently on the forums in the #community section, but since that doesn’t seem to exist anymore, this will do. I post ideas mostly for fun, but also to give Bungie ideas if they happen to see them. Anyways enjoy (warning: kinda long. Part 2, as well as loot and lore will be in separate posts.) Link to Part 2: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/259396352/0/0 The Perfected Legion: Cabal/SIVA Dungeon Location: The Plaguelands, Old Russia, Earth Description: “When left unchecked, evils intertwine.” Part 1: Enter the Warship
Players spawn in the Rocketyard, discovering that a massive hole has been made in the buildings and walls that once separated the Cosmodrome from the Plaguelands, and a new Legion of Cabal are pouring in and attacking everyone around them - Guardians, Hive, and Fallen. In the near distance, a Cabal Warship is seen crashed onto the surface, leaving a trail along the ground behind it which seemed to cause the new hole in the wall. These new Cabal wear battered and worn armor akin to Cabal armor from Destiny 1 that has long since lost its original colors. But shockingly, they also appear to be infected with SIVA; the so-called “Perfected Legionnaires,” “Perfected Centurions,” etc shoot SIVA laser blasts from their guns and occasionally from some physical augments on their bodies. They can also teleport. “Perfected Phalanxes,” for example, can extend their arms artificially using SIVA wires to grab and pull enemies towards them. Their shields are D1 Phalanx shields, not the current extendable ones. If killed by these enemies, it can be seen that their faction is called “The Perfected Legion,” and their symbol is the SIVA symbol. Players advance from the Rocketyard into the first area of the Plaguelands, Lord’s Watch. This time of year, the Plaguelands are not covered in snow, so it’s a different aesthetic than usual. The crashed Warship is much closer now, and players encounter increasing numbers of Perfected Cabal. After advancing through Lord’s Watch for a while, players reach the Warship. An entry ramp opens, and out steps a mini-boss: “Va’aruul, Perfected Imperator.” He is a Colossus, also wearing D1 armor. He is flanked by several Perfected Phalanxes called “Imperator Guards.” Va’aruul’s special mechanic is that he can summon tiny SIVA drones that will float beside him and shoot at players, as well as occasionally shield him. Once defeated, players enter the ship.
Part 2: Warship Acrius
Players enter Warship Acrius, and begin navigating the crumbling hallways. The crash landing has caused several jagged rocks and debris to appear, turning otherwise normal hallways into jumping puzzles at times. More Perfected Cabal appear from time to time. Players soon reach the end, a dugout cave entrance at the bottom of the ship that goes underground. However, it is blocked by SIVA. Players must each explore around the Warship to find 3 SIVA Nodes held by mini-bosses. The first is a Phalanx called “Zu’ulnur, Lieutenant of Consumption.” His special mechanic is that when he grabs a player to reel them in, it happens more slowly but if he succeeds in bringing you close, he absorbs you. Absorbing a player gives him more health, increasing time to kill. However, if a player is grabbed, they can shoot Zu’ulnur for a bit to make him let go (like The Fanatic.) Killing him drops a SIVA Node called “Consumption Node.” The second mini-boss is a Psion called “Luma, Lieutenant of Enhancement.” She starts out fighting like a normal Psion, but as she’s damaged, she gains new abilities to fight players with, such as “Psionic Shout” wherein she screams and it causes players’ visions to become blurry briefly. When defeated, she drops “Enhancement Node.” The third and final mini-boss is a War Beast encased in SIVA armor plating called “Ca’uor, Lieutenant of Replication.” Unlike normal War Beasts, Ca’uor can fight at a distance by firing tracking SIVA Projectiles out of its collar, and will often run to cover rather than fight up close, making the fight difficult. If Ca’uor is forced to get close, they will fight like any War Beast briefly before retreating. Upon death, Ca’uor drops “Replication Node.” While any of the 3 bosses can be killed in any order by anyone, once bringing the Nodes back to the cave entrance, they must be inserted into the SIVA blockade in the order of Consumption, Enhancement, and Replication, in line with the SIVA directive of “Consume, Enhance, Replicate.” When a node is inserted, using the first one for example, a killfeed message will appear that says: “Consumption Node installed” This message but with the name changed each time will appear after each one is placed. Once done, a Cabal monitor screen hanging above the cave entrance lights up with the SIVA symbol, and the blockade is lifted. A loot chest is also dropped. Players enter.
Thanks for reading so far! Part 2 will be in a separate post since I guess it was too long altogether.
