The reason they did this is because getting weapon drops from master vog is actually worse than armor drops, since the weapons are the exact same as what you could get from normal, and the armor is actually different in that it is guaranteed to have stat spikes. They also made it so that, other than pinnacle power loot, you arent locked out from either for doing the other one, so if you care for the weapons you can go back and run normal vog, but if you're the kind of person running master vog I dont see why you care about regular weapons anyways when you will realistically get more value from the timelosts.

What is particularly funny about this is, the one place you'd have wanted to already have masterworked raid armor so you can use raid mods and have decent stats, is the place that's now only going to give you more armor that you should already have. Womp womp. The separation of the loot pools is a nice change, but if I'm reading it correctly, will require two runs, one on master on on normal, to get all the loot. Which is strange... doing hard modes always rewarded both separate loot sources. Seems yet another one step forward, two steps back...

Let's be honest there is no point to do master vog anyways. Do the challenge and just leave like everyone else. It's to much of a joke to bother doing the full raid.
