You might be what we're looking for, and we may be the home you need. A few quick notes to start! 1. [b]Age:[/b] We ask that you be 16 years of age or older, to comply with Discord’s minimum age requirements & TOS. While our community is fully SFW, with zero tolerance for inappropriate content, we do expect some level of immaturity from all members. [i]Disclaimer: 90% of our members are above the age of 18; as such we do behave like adults in chat / voice, and expect the same of all members.[/I] 2. [b]Activity:[/b] While we do not have weekly game activity requirements, being active is one of the ways we grow as a community and as a clan! If you ever need time away for an extended period from either the game or discord, please let a mod or admin know. 2.1 [i]Note: While we don’t have Discord activity requirements, joining our community Discord is mandatory. This is to facilitate activity matchmaking, voice callouts for things such as raids or other pinnacle activities, and overall community building. Destiny is fun, but it’s better with a group! [b]Server Rules:[/b] Our rules are few but important, please follow them! 99% of them are common-sense rules, i.e., don't be a jerk needlessly. 4. [b]New Lights:[/b] Our community is open to people new to both Discord and / or Destiny 2, so don't hesitate to check us out if you're unsure of what it's like! Most of our members have been around since Discord or Destiny originated, and we're always welcome to teach new members. [b]The PoG Community is a growing group of gamers and friends who are always looking to grow and learn as individuals, and as a community.[/b] While our community is small, we take pride in knowing that every member of our group is important, regardless of age or activity level. We come from all walks of life, and from across the globe, and each of us brings something unique to the table. [b]How is PoG different?[/b] Here at The People other than Grunts, we put our friends first, and gaming second. We always aim to maintain a positive, fun, driven, and people-friendly atmosphere, which in turn helps to foster true, organic growth of the community as a whole. We like to talk about random things all the time, and we want you to enjoy the experience as much as we do. As for our server specifically, we are constantly growing and changing how the Discord server operates with things such as roles, opportunities within the server, and new game channels based on community interest. Some examples of roles we have are ones set aside for military veterans, Destiny triumphs, auto role(s) for Twitch streamers, and more! [b]Looking for a clan? A community? Most of our community and Destiny members have all been in various groups across the years, and some of us still are. We play all types of Destiny 2 content, from simple weekly's to endgame PvE / PvP content. If you wish to remain a community player, that's quite alright, too! Various server members are part of alternative clans, but still hang out within the PoG Community and are welcome to game with our clan whenever they wish. [b]How do you join?[/b] Simple! Once you acknowledge our server rules and go through the initial joining process, visit the [b][i]Gitchu’ Some Roles![/i][/b] category to see the various roles you can assign yourself. In #games-you-play, you’ll see roles for the various games we currently play in our community, one of those being Destiny. Give yourself that role, and you’ll then be able to ping @ DocKrease or one of our Sanguine Admins in #clan-applications regarding your application to our clan. After pinging an Admin, your application will be reviewed and finalized within 12 hours, and we will tag you with the clan role once approved!
