I love destiny and have played for 6 years, but these issues have been getting progressively worse over the last year and now make the game unplayable for me. It's gotten to the point where opponents stay invisible for the whole match (it used to only be for the first 30 seconds). I'm playing on an Xbox One X and have the video set to 1080p even though it's supposed to support 4K. The synch issues are also ruining what used to be a fun game. We'll play a team and get so thoroughly smashed that the match will end early. Then the next match we'll smash the next team the same way. If you're on the winning end one burst instantly kills your opponent, while on the losing end you can continuously fire for over a second and do no damage. My son is playing right next to me and we have the same problem; what shows on our screen as hitting our opponent, shows on the other's screen as that opponent being somewhere else completely. Who else is having these problems? Bungie please fix.
