Beagle has ruined my respect for this company and game
After dropping money on the season pass, I've code beagled twice in the past 24 hours. Unreasonable bungo.

PS5: How to Beagle yourself in Destiny 2 and thoughts/theories TLDW: go to manage game content. install a second language file and IMMEDIATELY delete the one that's like 70 GB. A PS5 system message will say "Something is wrong." Load the game and say hello to your new beagle! My theory is there is some files that aren't being downloaded, or written or saved fast enough. The PS5 is possibly clearing files from temp, RAM, cache, etc without acquiring new data first. This causes the system to expect data to be there but there is nothing to read at that particular point causing "Problem Reading Game Content." My possible solution would be to add code to the game to wait for new data to be downloaded or written before deleting or clearing the previous data. NOTE: I am no computer wiz or technician so what I am saying could be gibberish. This could also be an issue at the system level. If that's the case, Sony will need to step in and assist.

9 RepliesHello. I understand this is a frustrating experience. We're currently investigating this issue. While we investigate, playing the PS4 version or moving your Destiny 2 installation to an external SSD and back to the PS5 may temporarily alleviate this error.

This is getting annoying though. I got a new PS5, loving to reconnect with this game and I been getting that errors non stop at least three times a day. Now I’d need to front an SSD/HDD card just to swap the things back and forth? It is kinda infuriating. The PS4 version was so laggy it made sense to get a new console but that’s disappointing.

It will only cost $5000 silver and you will need to grind for a new currency called Beagle Bits in order to create a key to have access to the new servers. Once you have access you are only allowed 10 hours of play time a season and then you go back to basic servers then unless you want to pony up more silver! Bungie=Greed

Hey at least you get to play the game. I’ve been getting error coded Currant since yesterday and can’t access any activities. I’ve reset my router and reconfigured my network and still nothing.

1 ReplyThis has happened on my PS5 more than once. Swapping drives and re-downloading a WHOLE game just lessens the life of our machines. As a software engineer, what fault/bug in the F could possibly require a program to be completely installed? I was just reading the latest blog post on Crash Propagation. Where is that competence on this issue? This should be a top priority for that segment of users (ex: those on PS5). New content is worthless if we can’t play it.
