Character models not loading
Have a ghost outline for my gun, my character and fireteam members. Only started happening this past seasson - what gives?

1 ReplySame issue, but especially in pvp. Almost every single one on the other team had god-tier levels of invis since I couldnt see anything unless aiming directly at them so that I could see their name and healtbar.

It’s a super easy fix once I figured it out. I’m on Xbox and for me I had to goto my settings, devices and connections, blu-ray, and clear the cache. I’m not sure if this is a “temporary” fix but it works and I’m guessing it’s going to be the same for other platforms. Aswell I read that a good hard reset can fix this issue but I haven’t tried that one.

This is ontop of the fact that everyone including me has a ghost outline literally game breaking. Bungo how much more money you need for a good server jeez

I started having this issue a month ago. Other clan members also have this problem. Player models as well as my player model + guns not loading (wireframe mode). This is ruining my game play. I have pics and video to prove it. Xbox Series X Internet: 1 gig fibre Nat type open

Updated feed with same issue, series S. I’ve seen some suggestions for UpNp or NAT fixes. You know you’re lucky why you’re winning IB and you can’t see anyones models or guns, just their nametag! Bungie- you better fix this or I’m joining Savathuun.

I'm on PS5 seems after last update character models have not been loading in on pve games everything is fine on pvp but when I do a raid or even free roam character models aren't loading as well as weapons. Also can't hear anyone talking via game chat but they can hear me.? Anyone else having this problem?

How is this STILL not fixed?!.... It directly impacts the enjoyment of every aspect of the game.

1 ReplyHave you found a solution yet? All these posts are like a few months old but I'm just now getting this issue on ps4 in 2022. I feel like I wasted my money on the new expansion and 30th anniversary crucible is unplayable that's why I'm complaining on here.

Edited by XFlat BunnyX: 1/1/2022 10:36:39 AM2022 and apparently this is still happening. Just came back to Destiny 2 weeks ago and this happens all the time. It's hard to get sniper rifle kills with no reticle. I won't even play PvP. I'm on a Xbox Series X.

1 ReplyUpdate: Uninstalled, Cleared Cache&Rebuilt DB and Reinstalled on PS5. Was good for nearly a week, but it's back. A few days back I "won" (by default) several Gambit matches because the opposing teams kept getting DC'd. Spent an hour+ yesterday as a glowy blob hunter. And I just crashed out of a Gambit match.

Seriously I just got back into destiny 2 last week and now it’s unplayable can’t see my guardian can’t ADS. Why isnt this being acknowledged by bungie ?

I'm on the PS4- me and my dad play from time to time and he's on the PS5 he didn't have the problem but I did- not sure if it's linked but I wasn't having this problem till I joined his fire team so we could play some Gambit together, it would occasionally fixed itself when I died but not always..

1 ReplyYou know what'd be great?! If Bungie actually [b][/b]FIXED [b][/b] the game instead of trying to figure out how to monetize every little thing. At this rate with this Glitter bug, this game is definitely on its last leg... This is ridiculous.

The cache clear fixes it temporarily but it comes back. I've also gotten it to reset by adjusting the fov. This problem is probably memory related.

Same freaking issue here. Trying to play trials, on 5 win then suddenly everybody becomes sparkle dust and I can’t see anybody. We got stomped. Bungie what’s up with this?

2 RepliesI have been this same issue for the entire season of the lost. I can’t see my guardian, my guns, or other guardians around me (except in pvp, I can see those guardians). In the VoG it messes w my damage output w 1K voices. Does almost no damage. Bungie. Fix this now. It’s super annoying. It’s impossible to aim.

I’m having issues with this as well almost every time I play. I’m at the point where I just accept it and try not to rage too hard when I’m playing crucible against a 6 stack of invisible guardians. Please fix this bungie!!! I’m on PS4 BTW

Yeah same here, invisible for the last two days regardless of activity, resets and everything still haven't fixed. You guys at Bungie gotta fix this

Same here - it used to happen before but only occasionally and would go away very quickly. Now it's been like that for a good week or so. [b][u]WTF Bungie?[/u][/b] Please get your stuff together, or do you not see *pun intended* the problem?

1 ReplyThought I'd also throw my voice in with the cacophaby of others. It's been going on for a good week now. I literally cant see my gun reticle. I'm just having to guess where the center of my screen is, hoping I can land a crit on my opponent. Resetting my ps5 helps about 1/5 times. Otherwise, it's just loading
