/join no longer working?
So perhaps I'm missing something... I did do a brief google search for it, and nothing came up... decided to post here to see if maybe I did miss something.
When in game, joining anyone else with /join 987982347598346, i get message "attempting to join fireteam" and then nothing
no errors, nothing. just nothing happens at all.
any suggestions / ideas?

Ive been checking bungie's twitter everyday since the launch of the season to see if they've fixed this issue, but no, they're too busy fixing other minor issues like typos which are much more important apparently. I rely on LFG to help with getting pinnacles and Ive hardly been able to play this week cuz of this stupid issue. Bungie keeps saying theyre looking into it, but its probably gonna be ages until they sort it and until then this game is almost unplayable for me Bungie please sort this ASAP, its ruining what should be a good launch to the season!!!

Yea its absolute garbage.... Ive told bungie how scummy this is. THE AMOUNT OF REWARDS WE'VE BEEN MADE TO MISS IS INSANE... Im disgusted that this hasnt been fixed even after i posted on the first day since update.

I am encountering the same issue but some people are kind enough to add me on steam so i can join them but then when i try to communicate with them i get no response in fireteam chat so i whispered to them and they told me that they didn't see any message from me in the chat nor have i seen anything they type, also checked multiple articles tried different solutions related to chat problems to try and fix it but nothing happens however if you tried to join someone from your friend list using the join command it still work.
