[BNG] Season of the Splicer: Crash at Sign On
We are currently tracking an issue where Destiny 2 is crashing for players when signing in. We are seeking additional information to aid in our investigation.
1. What platform are you currently playing on?
2. When are you hitting this crash?
3. How many friends do you have online [b]currently playing Destiny 2[/b] when experiencing these crashes?

1. PC 2. Crash just travelling to the HELM 3. 2

1. PS5 2. Currently have 1 (one) friend on PS5 playing D2 and 2 (two) friends on PS4 playing D2. 3. I load up the game and hit ‘x’ at the title screen. An update screen appears: the one where it shows a couple of kids at the tower. Once it hits 99%, I get the “beagle” error code instructing me to delete and re-download the entire game. Then the game freezes & crashes, sending me back to the PS5 home screen.

Second time btw....in just two weeks lol Its starting to get realy annoying downloading the full client every time... One thing that it crashes - but to download full client again? Lol

1 Ps5 I have had to install and reinstall at least 4 times now 2 Has Happened several times, seems to happen when loading into various playlists, after the crash it fails to verify files error code: Beagle. The only way it will start again is with a reinstall. 3 no but their using the ps4 version

1 xbox 2 randomly ever since i started about 3 minutes ago. i logged in about 10 by now 3 no one is online that plays destiny 2

pc steam, cant even start the game it gets to the splash screen and freezes, ive tried multiple different methods on how to get it to launch redownloaded 3 times on different drives reinstalled steam moved around files drivers all current other games will launch and play fine this started happening yesterday(june 17th) after downloading another game, after i closed the game and tried to open destiny and thats when the issue started. this one has stumped me and 2 of my friends for the past few hours as they have helped me troubleshoot. once again the game launches through steam and freezes on the first few frames. i have to close the game through task manager so it seems like a hard crash.

1 Reply1. PC 2. After pressing enter to sign into the game I get an error indicating that I am unable to connect to the destiny servers. This has been ongoing for about 1 week or more now. I have tried clearing the Steam download cache, changed connection options of wifi to wired as well as different networks, and reinstalled the game. The game is then stuck in a connecting loop and even the windows button press will not break it. I must use a CTRL+ALT+DEL and use the task manager to shut it down. It occurred after the update a week ago. I am able to connect with other games to their respective servers (i.e. COD Cold War Black Ops) without issue. 3. How many friends do you have online currently playing Destiny 2 when experiencing these crashes? All of them, 3 to 20. Depends on the day.

I’m on ps5 98% of install of down load Can’t load into game so can’t tell you who’s online D2 has been glitching for around week for me now, and it seemed to start after Updating system software , I’ve send reports to Sony so let’s hope we all get back gaming soon .

I'm on PS5, cant tell how many friends were logged on to Destiny at the time of the crash and it keeps happening within 5-10mins of sign on. For the 2nd time I have a Beagle error, it tries to reload, gets to 99% then crashes again asking for a full install. I managed to log in for a day after my last delete and install but really dont want to keep having to do this every other day.

1 ReplyTo answer your questions: I’m on Ps5. No friends. And it happens at sign in. Usually the game freezes. I go to the “report a problem” screen. Then when I attempt to sign on again, I get the beagle error. This has happened three times in two weeks. I’m pretty sure it erased all of the most recent quests I completed in the hour or two before the crash as well. Hope it helps. I’m getting REAL tired of crashing and reinstalling when I can only play on the weekend.

Has there been a fix for this ps5 beagle problem yet? just as I loaded up vanguard strike playlist it threw the error code at me, told me to install, gets to 99% then comes up with “server issue and error beagle again. I can’t keep uninstalling and reinstalling, surly they gotta come up with a better fix?

Over the past 2 days, I have had to reinstall Destiny 2 three times. The game keeps crashing and giving me the error code: beagle. I'm tired of deleting and reinstalling the game every day. Please fix this Bungie.

Edited by Amfelisia: 6/14/2021 7:18:26 AMPlaying on Xbox Series S. Had no problem the first few weeks until error code nightingale started popping up. Usually 3-4 retries would solve the problem. But it’s been almost 2 weeks that all I’ve been seeing from Destiny 2 is error code nightingale and haven’t been able to play more than 2 days recently! I’ve exhausted every troubleshooting that there is, the problem doesn’t go away. Do something about your servers!!!
