I swear if you make Hung Jury an energy weapon
We have barely any scout rifles for the kinetic slot as it is, don’t do us dirty bungie

12 RepliesIt will be. There are no Omolon kinetic weapons in the game, so there really is no point in setting yourself up for inevitable disappointment. Just slap a minor damage mod on the weapon, and then go have fun. The bigger issue is the lack of variety of special weapons in the kinetic slot. Which is why this relic of a system from vanilla D2 needs to be overhauled and gotten rid of....at some point.

And don't get me started chasing random rolls on the damn thing. I can see it now, the first one that drops is gonna have hip fire grip and moving target.........

Kinetic Candle I.S.2 Torch HS2 Signal MS5 Triple Tap Extended Mag Hand Laid Stock Firefly Underdog THIS was Hung Jury. If it's not these perks; it's NOT Hung Jury but a shitty D2 weapon with the Hung Jury skin.

If it at least has Void or Solar, it's redeemable. If it's Arc, it's junk. You hardly even see Captains in GM's because they're all replaced by Overloads. Usually it's just some harpies or one random Cabal dude packing an arc shield.

9 RepliesWell seeing scouts are still not where they need to be, this D1 scout won't feel the same as it did, also I don't believe there is Triple Tap and Firefly.... It could have dragonfly but it's not the same... Note: I haven't seen triple tap on a weapon is it still a perk?

6 RepliesWhy are people getting hyped over this gun anyway? If its best possible roll is the old Triple Tap + Firefly/Dragonfly combo then it still won't be good. Just ask the curated Distant Relation. If it's Kinetic, then it won't be able to get Firefly/Dragonfly anyway; remember the bugged Cold Front with Dragonfly that eventually had the perk switched? I would love for it to be good. If it got Meganeura as a possible perk, then it could be amazing; but it won't, it'll just be another average Scout Rifle that underperforms because that's what Scout Rifles do in D2.

I hope its a kinetic because they severely overcrownded the energy slot this season 95% of the weapons they introduced in the chosen were energy weapons. Seriously look at lightGG im not even kidding everything is a energy weapon.

It most certainly will be an energy weapon simply because the most well known roll of it from d1 was triple tap firefly. So in order for bungie to suckered people back into the game to grind for it they have to give it the nostalgia roll of triple trap dragon fly. In all honesty the gun will be absolutely horrible compared to its d1 version because of how d2 handles weapon balancing. In d1 you didn't need to have a godrolled weapon for it to be viable in any content since all the weapons were viable to use and felt good to use. But in d2 if you want a weapon to be even remotely viable its gotta have a damage boosting perk of some kind as well a reload perk and even then it's not guaranteed to be useful at all.

They have to fill up the energy slots and have an overabundance of energy weapons because of their re[b]t[/b]arded fixed element system. They have to have 3 elements of every gun type in order to have an element for every archetype instead of going back to the system they used in D1 and in D2Y1 of just having [b]random rolled [i]f[/i]ucking elements[/b], which, funnily enough, they implemented for [b]armor[/b] out of all the f[b]u[/b]cking things.

There’s a reason because scout rifles are still basically useless. Also make it energy because it will make players like you mad and I’m ok with that since the destiny 1 weapon system was implemented back in forsaken making the game worst off than what it was.
