Got some feedback on stasis adjustments and crucible

We all know at this point destiny prioritizes PVE over PVP which is totally fine, but the crucible is free to play which is now actually a decent chunk of the playerbase, so crucible definitely still should have more support imo. There are certain fixes that would not take too much resources and could keep crucible in a more enjoyable state, even if no new content like new maps gets added. First of all the melee glitch that titans can do is still broken and literally unfair in the game and has to be fixed somehow bungie, if you are not aware of this please understand its a thing with behemoth titans. Next, I would also adjust all freezes of all things stasis. The freezes should only last 0.5 seconds like the coldsnap grenade, i have about a 50/50 shot it seems like escaping a coldsnap while all supers and other grenades just give me an automatic death sentence. We should not have to break out of stasis freeze at all, it should just drop us like the coldsnap does. If this were the case, stasis would still be superior to the light subclasses, but it would at least allow for counters because my enemy would still have a half second advantage, but if their grenade or super was poorly placed or used, i could escape and punish them essentially. How slow works is another issue with stasis. Hunters are very OP because they can essentially slow you down in every which way and stomp on your accuracy. Slow should not have an accuracy debuff at all. slow currently gives you two points of vulnerability of weapon accuracy and not being able to move well, so getting rid of the accuracy debuff still gives the ability user an advantage, but still gives the defender a better chance to retaliate. Stasis would still be the best subclass with all of these changes, just being able to slow and freeze someone for a split second is powerful enough, supers are very hard to combat and just don't really fit in with literally everything else destiny has made with light subclasses and certain weapons. If these changes took place, it would allow for more interesting builds for stasis too and really work the fragment and aspect system. Right now, people just have whisper of fissures and literally anything else on because it doesn't matter because stasis is just too good as it is. So nerfing it can actually increase its potential for builds and people trying to maximize their best playstyle. So I hope you read this bungie and take some of this to heart as a veteran pvp player who won't even touch trials or even comp because of how stasis can be right now, but I believe in you guys and I hope you can find a good balance between these light and dark subclasses in the future.

  • You guys are complaining about how when you get hit with a stasis super you have no chance of living once you get frozen. When you get hit with a light super, you have even less chance of living, because it instantly kills you. I have escaped many stasis supers once I have been hit with them, but I have never escaped a light super once I have been hit by it, because it is an Insta kill. Yes, the grenades and melees are a problem in stasis, but the supers should be left alone, because you actually have a chance of surviving them
