Hive/Ahamkara Strike Idea (idk where else to post this)

Sup y’all. I used to post Strike and Raid ideas back in the D1 days in a Community tab, but since that’s apparently gone, this is the only suitable place I can think of. Enjoy. The Celebrant Hunt: Hive Strike Location: Temple of Crota, Ocean of Storms, Earth’s Moon Description
"Some Hive choose not to believe that Prince Crota, son of Oryx, is dead. They even believe that Durog, one of their former Celebrants is in fact a reincarnation of their deity. Durog has turned what remains of the Spawn of Crota into his own worshippers, and now I have begun hearing whispers of their rituals to crown him as the next King of the Hive. Although we believe that the Hive prince no longer walks our realm or his own, it is best we don't take any chances, and don't have another ‘Thalnok incident.’” - Eris Morn
Part 1: Breach the Temple Players spawn outside the Temple of Crota, and see that the door leading inside is sealed. Ghost: “Eris, we’re at the Temple, but the front door is locked. The Runes keeping it sealed require a Swarm Prince Blade to open.” Dialogue if you played the D1 Vanilla campaign
Ghost: “How and why would the Hive still have use for one of those?” Eris: “That is strange, you slew the Swarm Princes years ago. It does not surprise me that the Hive kept their blades given their use in the Sword Logic, but indeed; what use would they be if their proper wielders are dead?”
Dialogue if you haven’t played that campaign
Ghost: “What are ‘Swarm Prince Blades’?” Eris: “That is strange, the Swarm Princes were a group of sword-wielding Hive Knights. They were destroyed years ago by the legendary Guardian known as ‘The Young Wolf.’ It does not surprise me that the Hive kept their blades, as the Sword Logic dictates their importance, but what use would they be if their proper wielders are dead?”
Suddenly, the runes come undone and the door opens. Nightmare Hive emerge, including “Nightmare of Garok, Xol Prince.” Ghost: “Never mind! There’s one!” Eris: “How can this be?! The Nightmares were dealt with!” Players fight Garok until he dies, dropping a Swarm Prince Blade as a relic. Eris: “I sense the Darkness is immense, and unusually prevalent within the Hellmouth. Infuse the Sword with Light and carry it with you. Only with that will you be able to traverse further.” A player walks up to the sword and holds the prompted button, picking up the sword and infusing it with Light. Players step inside. Part 2: Whispers of Dragons Players descend into the room with the dormant Hive Seeder, sticking close together to stay within the protection of the Sword’s Light as one player continues to carry it. Eris: “I do not understand what could’ve caused this resurgence. I can only speculate that the Darkness must be growing stronger, preparing for a conflict to come.” Ghost: “The dead Hive Prince, Crota, couldn’t be...coming back again, could he?” Dialogue if you beat Crota’s End
Eris: "I know that Crota cannot be born again. You slew him in that pit. What was his palace is now his grave, never his place of rebirth."
Dialogue if you didn’t beat it
Eris: “I know that Crota cannot be born again. The Young Wolf slew him in his Throne World at the depths of the Hellmouth. What was his palace is now his grave, never his place of rebirth.”
Players push through to The World’s Grave, fighting through a mix of Hive and Nightmare Hive. Eris: "I hear the whispers of the ritual. They are giving Durog the blessing of Oryx. But I also hear them speak of something else..." Ghost: "If King Oryx didn't approve of his son being impersonated, I would assume he wouldn't approve this, even in death. But why do it anyway?" Eris: "The Hive lost their entire royal family that resided in this system; their prince Crota, his brother Nokris, sisters Ir Anûk and Ir Halak, and their father Oryx. They have no leadership, and are therefore crippled. They need something to rally behind." Players fight to the Chamber of Night. Eris: "The whispers are louder. They speak of Crota, and another. I do not quite understand them." Ghost: "The door leading to the chamber is sealed, but I should be able to crack it this time." Before Ghost can do so, however, a phantom that looks like a dragon similar to Riven appears above the players. Drakool: "Behold! I am Drakool, of vengeance and death!” He roars in a powerful voice, “You slayed my kind in the Hunt, and destroyed Oryx’s Court! But now, it is you who shall become the Hunted, and you who shall be destroyed!” Drakool’s phantom disappears. Eris sounds stunned. Eris: “Drakool...he has returned. I feared this would happen.” Ghost: “Eris, what was that?! Another Nightmare?” Eris: “No. There were rumors that Ahamkara were capable of living after death as spirits, but the City dismissed them as ‘folklore.’ It appears those rumors are true, and if that is so for all of them...we may yet face another war. But for now, push onward. We must stop Drakool, especially if he might be in league with the Hive, or worse yet, the Darkness itself.” More Hive and Nightmare Hive appear. Once they’re dealt with, Ghost unlocks the door. Ghost: “We’re in, let’s go!” Players continue onwards, venturing into the same cave from The Dark Below where Crota’s Soul once resided inside a crystal. Part 3/Boss Fight: Durog, Celebrant of Crota/Drakool, of vengeance and death Inside the cave, players see a group of Knights encircling Durog, a Knight who actually looks a lot like Crota. Also above them, the phantom of Drakool sits, staring at the players. Suddenly, Drakool enters Durog's body, and possesses him. Ghost: "What happened?! Drakool disappeared!" Eris: "Drakool did not leave. He took control of Durog's mind and flesh. The Ahamkara had always been able to do such things before, but never have I seen it done as part of a Hive ritual. Stop them!” Drakool, now in Durog's Hive Knight body, emits a shockwave that sends the other Knights flying back, killing them. As that happens, his body is lit on fire, glowing, and grows a pair of wings made of fire. Drakool: "Let the hunt begin!" He charges at players while flying low to the ground. Although he does shoot fireballs as a distance attack, he mainly attacks with his own sword, and also fire breath (like a dragon.) The only player that can hurt Drakool is the sword bearer. But since Drakool is constantly flying around, the other players must damage him enough to make him drop to the ground and rest for a few seconds. After being hit, he’ll stay on the ground and attack a little bit before lifting back up into the air. The process is repeated until the health bar reaches zero. When that happens, Drakool will drop to the ground and stop glowing with fire, his wings disappearing into thin air. The physical body of Durog will disintegrate like any Hive, but Drakool’s phantom will reappear, rapidly flying away before disappearing. Drakool: “The Ahamkara shall have their vengeance!” He says before disappearing. At that moment, the end-of-Strike loot chest will appear. Ghost: “I, uh...don’t think Drakool is dead.” Eris: “He likely isn’t. We must warn the City of this development. If the rumors really are true, he and others could return again.” Ghost: “Who was Drakool?” Eris: “As his title suggests, he is an Ahamkara that specializes in delivering vengeance on the enemies of those who wish it. I can only assume the Hive had researched the wish-dragons and summoned him, as he best fit their cause. Someone wanted to have vengeance for the deaths of Oryx and his family...” The end. Thanks for reading, likes and comments (including constructive criticism) are encouraged. I do this for fun but also wouldn’t mind if Bungie would see my ideas and gain inspiration from them. I know they have before 😂
