PS5/Wired Issues with new updates?

My setup: Playstation 5 with wired connection Wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue over the last week. Everything was working fine about 1.5 weeks ago (last time I played) but came back after installing updates and upon attempting to sign in to PS5, I will get one of two scenarios. - Stall on "Connecting..." then told that cannot connect to Playstation Network. - Get through character select to be told " You have lost connection to the Destiny 2 servers. Your permissions to access online multiplayer gameplay may have changed our your profile may have been signed in elsewhere." I have gone through the following troubleshooting steps repeatedly https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049196651 Which means I have: - rebooted system, rebooted app, cleared console cache, reinstated licenses, etc etc Other things I have tried: - rebooting router - changing ethernet cables (confirmed they work elsewhere) - CAN play other games online, access PS Store, and get successful network test wired - CAN play Destiny 2 on PC with same wired connection - CAN play Destiny 2 on all systems with wifi

 • Hey there. The "servers are not available" message indicates that there is a connection issue of some kind happening between you and Destiny 2. This may be an internet service provider issue. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. A wired connection is recommended to play Destiny, and if your connection is being used for other things when playing the game, such as streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. 3. Power cycling your internet router 4. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 5. Following our Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny. If issues persist, try our Advanced Steps Networking Guide for possible router solutions, such as enabling UPnP. You may also want to enable IPV6 on your router if you have it. 6. This player found a solution that involves installing new network driver 7. You may want to change your DNS server on your console to Google's Nameservers (8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4.) 8. Contact your internet service provider to see if there are any issues with your connection.
