Hacked, bungie please help.

My account was logged in with a different IP recently and was used to cheat in Trials Of Osiris. I have 2.4k hours and have never cheated in a game before as I hate hackers in this game. They ruin the experience and I would never want to be one. I went on a trip over the weekend and when I got back my friends told me that I was cheating and when I checked my report it looks like I was. I want to say that it was not me and Bungie, don't ban me. I always play legit and try to have fun while making experiences fun for others. I have turned on 2fa that way nobody else can get on my account. It would be greatly appreciated if an admin can check this and help me out. I would really like a second chance.

  • Why should anyone go through all the trouble of "hacking" your account just to play a few games of Trials (at a guess it was exactly 7 matches they played on your account). Hacking is kind of illegal you know. This is why hackers ALWAYS have a reason to do it be it financial gain or even bragging rights neither of which your account qualifies for. Sorry but I do hope the ban hammer drops on you as it will be a lesson learned the hard way. Just be grateful that your account was not stolen to be sold on eBay.

      • Hmmm...hidden history, Let me guess, yet another person that doesn't know it's a really dumb idea to get a recovery...

Did they play against your account? Or did they just decide to look up your game history just for the fun of it? Then we come to the part of the hacker. So this “hacker” logged into your account, cheated a flawless in trials, then logged back out allowing you to setup up 2 F.A. So your telling us the “hacker”was smart enough to hack your account, but stupid enough to not change your password so you still have access to your account? So what would be the reason a “hacker” would behave in this way?
See how silly this story sounds?
• yeah right.....you must take us all for fools..posting this crap....why any hacker would waste time to hack your account....this makes no sense...you probably paid for a recovery and the guy you paid cheated and now you try to justify the unjustifiable....i hope you get banned cause guys like you are the pestilence that plagues trials

        • Acct security is your responsibility. You should have had 2FA turned on before. If whatever occurred on your acct is worthy of a ban, then it is deserved. You have no chance of it being overturned. Anyone who cheated would just say "I was hacked, it wasn't me." If the games played on your acct are ban worthy, you should prepare yourself mentally for a ban.

Well now you are definitely getting banned, probably should not have said anything about this on a forum, but if you are genuine I hope you get to keep your account

          • Hi there. I believe this is not the correct place to state this. It cannot be proven that it was not related to you, nor can it currently be proven such. Please wait and see what happens. If you are banned, contact Ban Appeals. An unban is not guaranteed.
