Allow world roaming while waiting for match making
Some playlist matchmaking take forever (and often fail). The situation for glory crucible activities on Stadia is terrible for example.
The gamer should be allowed to do non playlist activities while waiting, for example world roaming. Or even start multiple matchmaking and then let the fastest one win.

5 RepliesI dare say your wait times are so long because the player base is so small on Stadia (not 100% sure if that is the issue but I know someone who plays The Crew 2 on Stadia and even though they are far from good, they still manage platinum every Summit because of having such a small player base). Once cross platform gaming is initiated, it should hopefully fix this issue (actually looking forward to it and would love to see some sort of monthly "console wars" competition put in place). That being said, your idea is a good one, some sort of waiting room etc that you can roam around in would be great for soaking up time while the lobby gets filled.

Playing on Stadia was your first mistake. Second was thinking Bungie would let us do something else while waiting for loading.
