Bring back Black Armory Guns
miss those guns and the gamemode <3 good memories

Hated doing the forge on Nessus that was the three floating islands, and I definitely wasn't a fan when they suddenly buffed the health of the Spider Tank boss in the Labs, but didn't warn anybody first (or maybe they did, but the buff was more than I was expecting).

Just rehashing old weapons and playlists would be boring for me personally. However, Black armory style weapons with a menagerie style activity would sell it for me. Basically, I would like new content that actually uses and builds off of previously successful content. I know. Crazy idea, right?

I'm not sure what I am more mad about? 😠🤔 Bungie sun setting my Black Armory weapons.. Or Bungie removing the BA tempur /shader/ mod that gave the guns that super cool colorful wavy pattern!😁 I still have all my BA guns in my vault (only guns I can't delete for some reasons.lol) and those BA Tempur mod things that gave a gun more damage in the Forges made the gun you put it on look COOL AS.FOOK too! Plus they were hard to get. I had 2 and I put 1 on my Hammer Head (with that mean Ornament that put the shark on it) and the other on my God roll Masterworked Rampage & Kill clip ,Dead Orchid. Well I was taking a walk down memory lane in my Vault the other day when I noticed my super cool BA mod/shader/whatever it was WAS GONE 😭.but why? I guess because Bungie removed the mod from being obtained it completely removed it from the system. TLDR I mad about losing BA guns and cool BA gun mod/shader thingy

I'd argue to bring back some of the black armoury weapons [i][/i]and [i][/i] add new ones to shake it up. So it's not just a bunch of reissuing, it's returning favorites and new stuff to bite off.

True but they would need to either find a different NPC for transmogrification/armour sithesis cause Ada 1 is the one in charge of they next season

Personally, I'm for Forges coming back but with new weapons and Armour - of Black Armory standard. Too many deleted good versions of old gear when sunsetting hit that to bring the og stuff back would cause riots and quite frankly, reissues drive veterans away from the game more often than not. Would love to see the raid back too - as it was set on Earth along with two forges, the other two on Nessus, I don't see why they were removed at all.

I miss it too. But bringing it back would cause a major backlash from everyone who deleted their gear on the premise sunsetting was staying. However if they do comeback they won't be as god tier as they were. Bungie recycled other gear so the old busted gear could be cycled out. It would be dreaming city recycles all over again.

Important note: If black armory weapons come back, the rolls will be NOWHERE near as good as before. Kindled orchid won’t get rampage/kill clip. Ringing nail won’t get dragonfly/rampage. No feelings probably won’t get box breathing. None of the weapons will be NEARLY as good as they were before, simply because bungie thinks these combos we’re TOO good on regular weapons.

1 ReplyI hope they all come back including the raid ones. What I really want though is if they come back we can fill in some of the blanks and they add an smg, linear fusion, sidearm, grenade launcher, and breach grenade launcher.

1 ReplyI miss my Black Armory gear. I shed a tear on the day when that stuff was sunset. It's gonna feel very, very weird getting non-Black Armory loot from Ada-1 next Season. Wasn't the whole entire gimmick around the Bkack Armory was that their wares were more exclusive to all the other trash out there.

The guns I miss can't really say I miss doing forges though. I do miss the raid though.
