For the love of god, put some armor at the 3 win/bounty tier for trials.
Seriously, like once you get something at any win tier it's available in the engram, but you've kept the armor always at the higher win levels. With how sweaty trials players are it's hard to get up there without having some streamer play with you and even then you have to be just as good. I'm not the best trials player, I'll openly admit that, but I can get to 3 wins on a consistent basis. Just put armor at the 3 win/bounty tier every other week......like come on...

Trials is so unbelievably stingy with loot in general. What are they afraid of? Why is it sooooo damn stingy? Add in the bad matchmaking, bad bounty system, super-duper stingy token payouts, light level enabled, have to queue in with a full team, and stasis being the meta, and it’s a wonder people play trials at all.

Agree and disagree. This is coming from a bounty completer in trials. Not to be confused with someone who wins. I just grab a crap load of bounties and take my time finishing them. I feel like they need to be random drops and have a weekly piece tied to a bounty. Nothing crazy, say like as a team get 20 kills. Boom, this week you get the headpiece. Don't really care about stats, I'm gonna transmog that beyotch anyway. While we are at it, Bungie can we get random tokens just for playing. Not only for winning. You guys used to do that.

5 RepliesExactly why does it matter? The armor is purely cosmetic, you’ll get more consistent high roll drops from raids anyways. Considering how competitive many of the Trials weapons are, it’s not surprising in the slightest that they’re making them as accessible as they can with the current 3/5/7 system. The armor set is good, yeah, but honestly it really isn’t that good without the Flawless glow anyways, at which point you’ll be earning the armor pieces. Keeping the weapons as the 3-win makes more sense IMO. That being said, [i]BUNGIE CAN WE GET -blam!-ING EYE OF SOL BACK PLEASE.[/i]

2 RepliesThe trials population is extremely low as is, only the handcannon and the pulse rifle as a 3 win reward can actually attract masses of players to play that garbage game mode. And i do not blame em. I myself ONLY play trials when the handcannon is the 3 win reward these days even tho i am not bad at pvp. The Trials loot system/win streak requirement is just that flawed, that literally noone but the top 0,1 players in a STACK can [u]efficiently[/u] gather trials loot/tokens past the 3 wins. Or cheaters. Cliff Jump bounty will get changed soon aswell is my fear and then every single match will be a cheatfest/championship. In an unbalanced, casual looter shooter, i have to add LOL

Get rid of the three loss crap and there wouldn’t be an issue. It would also cut down on your stress of not getting gear locked behind a pvp mode. I can go further but watch I’m going to have some pvp pleb tell me some bs about it would be like regular crucible or quickplay at that point. My answer is exactly my point. An have to explain to him about what game is suppose to be.

As great as the armor sets are this time, putting weapons as the third win reward makes more people want to go into Trials and so it helps make Trials more populated for players of all different skill levels. Honestly, I think Bungie should just make the armor drop as random rewards for match completions with the armor drops getting better stats that higher you go on your card.

Why not both, like seriously or why even do the wins as is why not just have a chance to get a drop while playing, ontop of the milestones, why so stingy with loot bungo? Trails stuff used to be so good in d1 and now it's a bad joke

1 ReplyThat’s a bad idea. Very few ppl want Low to medium stated armor for their time in trials. They want weapons. The numbers don’t lie. The population absolutely sky rockets when good weapons are at 3 wins. What they could do is make trials armor drop at the end of matches. And stop with the low end armor while they’re at it. It’s very off putting when you run trials and get 55 rolled gear with horrible displacement for your trouble. JMO
